Well, if anyone asks me what Film-Noir is, I now know what video to suggest. I don't know If I watched too quickly, but I think that you failed to mention the melancholy Jazz heavy on the saxophone, which was a big thing of the 40's film noir. I, also, didn't see you use "Angel Heart" with Mickey Rooney as the hard-boiled detective and Robert DeNiro as the mysterious client. That movie is a neo-noir/horror combination that is so Noir on purpose that it might as well be an encyclopedic article on the genre.
Thanks a lot! You’re right, I think I did forget about the iconic jazz scores in film noir (I honestly don’t know how). And I haven’t seen Angel Heart yet, but it’s definitely going on my watchlist.
Thanks! And yeah, this was my first video, so I was still working out what was good and what wasn’t. I’ve since learned that the sound from the film clips can be a bitttt distracting!
very interesting 🥶

Good video but sometimes I can’t here what you’re saying due to the sound from the film clips
