Hey Roberto! Yes, I’ve been on the road quite a lot so had very limited time to record any videos but hoping I can get back to it more regularly now 😁🙏🏼👍🏽
The little section with the ‘pull and thumb’? I think keeping your plucking hand relaxed and close to the strings helps with moving between finger and slap technique. These are all the kind of bits that I play really slow so I can figure out the best fingering/movement to get there in time. We’ve all got slightly different hand shapes/finger lengths/strengths etc so it may be a case of finding the ‘sweet spot’ for yourself. Definitely playing that bar or section over and over trying different ways is the way to go, you’ll stumble across the one that works for you 😁🙏🏼
Very true! When I bought the album on CD the first thing I did was turn to the credits and see who was playing bass on it! You don’t really get that with streaming and downloads so much now.
Another fantastic cover and the bass sound is superb
Thank you so much Jon! This Ken Smith never lets me down with tone and balance, it records so well! 😁🙏🏼👍🏽

Thank you so much for your continued support my friend! 😁🙏🏼
You nailed it for sure. Back in the day, I got picked for bands at auditions based on my playing of this song.
Thank you so much my friend. Such a great bass line in this tune, I can see why it was the staple for auditions! 😁🙌🏽
Excellent version & very well played!!

Many people don't know that Flea played studio bass on that recording.
