I just left my warehouse job last week. I'm never looking back. I rather work retail or fast food. It was so depressing in there. They just look at you as a number than any place I know. McDonald's or Walmart treat their employees better than those warehouse jobs lmao! When I was working at the warehouse they were acting like my life was on the line or if I quit I would be unemployed forever.

Only worked there until I found a job in tech which took around 6 months to get after getting the warehouse job but my time there wasn't bad. The only part I truly disliked was having to wake up at 4am and leave within 20 minutes since it took an hour and a half to get to the warehouse with public transport since I didn't own a car. Then an hour on the way back. Was essentially taking up nearly 15 hours of my day on 4 on 4 off schedule. But the money was good for me back then so it was worth it. And on my 4 days off, I spent most of my time learning to program or studying in general. Was nice not having to talk to anyone and they also let me listen to music, my warehouse was a pretty decent place to work, managers were nice etc and I also got trained up but I know there are others that might hate their warehouse jobs.
@@EM-wo6wf Same here. That's the tradeoff, although coworkers/supervisors at warehouse jobs can be pretty hard to deal with too. At a warehouse production job you can just zone out irritating people and focus on work though - as long as you work, no problems.

I started my first program to get my CDL and that didn’t work out because i was still lazy & immature. Eventually i left and went back to school full time. I just finished getting my certification in aircraft maintenance.
worked at amazon and hellofresh wearhouse, unbelivably terrible especially being a temp worker you would never order anything form hellofresh or factor if you knew what went on in these places. I mean my god the people are just shitty or gross, guys were having razor blade fights in the restrooms.
I like warehouse work... but I think it depends on the warehouse... I've been working at a warehouse for the last 17 yrs... the first 4 or 5 yrs I did a lot of manual work, but I've worked my way up and now have an office job... guess it depends what you like doing.
Not all warehouses have the same work schedule. it all depends on the size of the warehouse. a typical schedule at a warehouse is from 5/6 AM until 3 PM.
I wish I could have a warehouse job. They pay more than minimum wage at least and you don’t have to interact with customers. I just got a job at auto zone but oh my god I don’t even want to show up. The thought of having to actually interact with people WHILE I WORK literally kills my soul. I hate people so much it’s unreal.
I’m quitting my warehouse job this week on Thursday, on going in for 3hrs lol 😂going back too school and im a software engineer with my own website now doing freelance projects for clients

Opposite for me. I’d rather work warehouse. I do not want to interact with customers in any way. I find the American public generally insufferable.
