I'm loving the vibes of this video! The finished hairstyle is beautiful!😍 My mom used to thread my hair for kindergarten and school in the past and also used threads made out of nylon material. They are usually thinner. It holds the hair very well and when you moisturise your hair very well, it's also a beautiful protective styling. Please talk more about natural grown women styles! You're so right about the beads. Often I find many hair tutorials not giving mature black women vibes.
Wow you went all out with the rubber thread! I’ve always used weave thread. While transitioning I alternated between flat threading, threaded Bantu knots and threaded Senegalese twists that I kept in a bun. (I LOVE threading 🥰) Had I seen a video with the beads at the time I would’ve jumped on that to wear my hair down more ❤️ it’s gorgeous! You get better at it each time ☺️
You did it.!!! I saw the african threading method several years ago. I wanted to try it for stretching. I ended up doing the banding method (lazy), but it did good. You were determined to get this in. Good job Girl. I will check back on the gram to see how it works for you. I hope that you can keep these in for a while to give yourself a break on restyling. Enjoy the style.
Looks lovely on you. I watched the same video last week and purchased the beads and some thread to do this. When you said 9 hours not sure when I’ll do it 😂
I love that, you look great! I would let someone else do it - I know better than to try that myself. No patience and no skill! I was really bummed I missed your live. I was working and by the time I saw it, it was over. It was really interesting though, glad you left it up.
You did a great job!🤩👏🏽 However, the way my patience is nonexistent, I wouldn't be trying this on myself even if the condition of my hair could handle it 😂
This looks beautiful. Gives a nice chill vibe too. Makes you look artsy. I kinda want to try beads but don't want to end up looking too child-like or like overtly girly.
HEY LA TOYA🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️i just wanted to tell you that you've tried😇😇 for the first time you've tried 😇bt plz next time as you thread leave some space as you continue to wrap the thread around 👀it gives room to shrinkage thus more volume 🥰its just a technique i use...My hair is thinner than yours... but when i do my threas, because of the technique my hair usually looks thicker 😂🙈🔥plz try it...am sure yours will be perfect
Thanks for all the love! Give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed!
What a coincidence. I was just watching Westafricanbaby's tutorial amd I was wondering how it would look with rubber threads 😊
Wonderful job LaT!! The beads give it such a pop!!!
Thank you sis!! She taught me (us) well!
Seun Okimi took us (subs) on a trip to Nigeria and in her video shows her getting this done by a Nigerian threader. It was very interesting to watch
Yes, it was so fascinating and fun to watch. But lord have mercy I knew that I could never sit through that.
I’ll have to check it out! I like her videos!
@@LaToyaEbonyHair The whole series she did on her trip to Nigeria was very interesting. I was glued to each video she uploaded while she was there.

This hair style looks amazing on you. 🥰
Seam rippers work very well for removing thread and yarn.
Ooo yes. Great tip!
I love its watching it in 2024 April.. Am definitely going to try this out
These absolutely work for you!! Giving native vibes😍
Thank you!
its cute and it keeps your hair stretched ... i love it
Right?!! It’s honestly a brilliant method.
I have never seen this style before. I do like it. 😍
I may try again…after some time lol
sooo cute!
It came out really cute. They look like braids. Gotta try this ❤🤩
Thank you!
Holy cow, such a freaky beautiful style 😍. I love it.
Thank you!
Oh my, it’s beautiful but you have far more patience than I have.
😂😂😂 I’m still debating if I would do it again.
this style is so so cute 😍, I followed her too
Thank youuu! Yes, her styles are incredible
You can use hair wool to thread. It’s just different and the rubber isn’t the one used for this style it’s the plain thread
Looks lovely on you. I watched the same video last week and purchased the beads and some thread to do this. When you said 9 hours not sure when I’ll do it 😂
😂😂😂 I might be a lil slow tbh. My hands don’t have the practice.
That part!😂🤣

Thanks for watching!!
Looks very pretty and the plastic gives more of a shine to the hair
Yeah, the plastic surprisingly looks good!
Yay you tried it! Glad to see it’s catching on. Do you have any difficulty with it in revealing at the roots? That’s been my issue
Unraveling? Or reverting? I think auto correct got ahold of your sentence lol
@@LaToyaEbonyHair sorry yes it did lol. Unraveling*
You did a great job!🤩👏🏽
However, the way my patience is nonexistent, I wouldn't be trying this on myself even if the condition of my hair could handle it 😂
It definitely takes patience lol
Yes the rubber thread, is what I have seen used in authentic African threading vids
Yeeeees. It’s a very interesting thread. It kind of reminds me of beading wire. It’s cool.
You look amazing!!!!! This turned out so beautifully🥰🥰🥰 if I could, I would!!! Someone else doing it of course lol
Love the outro! Love the look Toya!
Thank you boo! ❤️❤️
Gorgeous 💕💖…. I tried…I failed 😞 🤣😂Thank You for sharing and giving advice. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️🌹
Aww lol! It takes some practice. Halfway through I was like…do I really want to finish? Lol
@@LaToyaEbonyHair 😂🤣💕
Love this! Beads or no beads it's up to. Cute either way ☺️
soooooo cute
Thank you sis! ❤️❤️
I love this style on you very lovely 🥰 xoxo. I might have my friend help me with doing this in the future ❤️

@@LaToyaEbonyHair I got it this time lol
I really love this and love it on you!
Thank you so much!! I like to too!
This looks beautiful. Gives a nice chill vibe too. Makes you look artsy. I kinda want to try beads but don't want to end up looking too child-like or like overtly girly.
I hear you. Good thing is they are every Easy to take out. Worth a shot.
So beautiful 😍
Thank you!
Am gonna try it on my relaxed hair, thanks for sharing dear
The end result is absolutely beautiful!💜 It's all the in-between that's a no for me. If a style takes days to do it is so not happening.🤣🤣
😂😂 I think I’m just slow
@@LaToyaEbonyHair I think it's just very intricate work that takes a while to do.💜
So pretty. I would definitely this style ooorrrr you can do mine for me 😂
Girrrrrl, idk if I can do it again. 😅
Love WAB! She's awesome
So cute 🥰
Thank you Bianca!

@@LaToyaEbonyHair yes as you wrap
Looks great 🤩
Thanks Diamond!
Sooo cute😍
Thank you Vee! ❤️❤️
@@LaToyaEbonyHair you're welcome ❤
does this kind tread dried hair out? cause the regular one does
No, it's amazing because it's a smooth rubber texture. It's amazing.
Gang Gang love💞
AYYYEEE! Came through with the 💞 I love it!
Would a beader work
Ooooo I never thought of that! Maybe!
@@LaToyaEbonyHair I work at a hair store they sell them individually from the kids beads they longer and studier than the kids beaders. ❤️
I love the look but I would die taking that down.
It’s sooooo much easier taking it out. I have a timestamp that shows how.
🥰👏🏽❤️😍💖
❤️❤️❤️
Girl no! I will admire from afar! It’s beautiful though. I no longer want to spend a lot of time on my hair.
😂 I feel you!
9 whole minutes before the actual tutorial starts....
Drop the timestamp!
Absolutely not wearing beads in my hair as technical professional. This is not a refined look for the office lead. Maybe vacation hair 💁🏼♀️
