I used to teach guitar at a music store in Bay City Michigan called Mid Michigan Music. Larry lived in Bay City and, when he was in town he would stop by and spend hours jamming with us. This was when he was just getting started. I can say from personal experience he's one of the coolest people I've ever met. He's worked hard to get where he is and he deserves every accolade he gets.
Saw Larry fairly local to me a few years ago, and he was fabulous! Met him after the show; what a lovely guy.

hopefully everyone knows he has a show, "blues is my business" which can be heard/streamed on 100.3 in grayling on tuesday nights, 8-10pm. he plays lots of cool stuff, including some of his own.
