As a hard core X Files from I can say that regardless of whether or not the original actors are involved I WON’T watching. This idea is DOA.

I have loved The X-Files since the beginning. When I heard Disney is doing a reboot it broke my heart and angered me. Disney ruins everything they touch. I will not be watching.👽

I wish humans could read. It was already announced that it’s a complete reboot! Dana and Fox are not the stars of said reboot! The series will follow two different characters in the X-Files Division… Nothing can compare to the original but I look forward to this new series to be directed by Ryan Coogler the Black Panther Movie Director.👌🏾

Started watching X-filed this year. Just watched the first episode of season 4 tonight. I will probably watch some of this reboot once I finish the OG, but honestly I don’t know if I will like it. The only good Disney reboot I have seen is the Duck Tales reboot but the rest were mid at best.

As someone who recently watched all of it mostly for the first time with a long time fan, we agree that they should ABSOLUTELY hard reboot (or just leave it alone) as they botched it around season 6. I don’t know what was going on behind the scenes but it was so disappointing from that point on and only got worse,
Mulder and Scully getting romantically involved ruined it.
@@dontlookbehind1385 I would disagree. The whole syndicate storyline just being mangled and swept under the rug in a hurry is what killed it for me. All of that infrastructure gone overnight?! The facilities?! The staff?! What happened to the bees?! Then they just sort of aimlessly flopped around for a few seasons before Duchovny left.
