When I asked my Rabbi, why don't we have a Temple or Priesthood any longer, he struggled to come up with an answer. Grateful to be Orthodox now☦

Whenever people say that Judaism is allied or in some way equivalent to Christianity, they are either mistaken or are lying. Jewish people who rejected Christ broke the covenant with God and have thus fallen into heresy. That's why we so often see them trying to directly undermine Christians and Christianity, whatever force they serve now, it's not God.

The lines are further blurred between the New Jerusalem and the restored people of God in Jeremiah 30:18b and Jeremiah 31:4.

Isn't the Jerusalem that gentiles go to the Jerusalem mentioned in Zechariah, I believe, the "good" Jerusalem that God will "make" future tense i.e. the Church and in Divine Liturgy is the place gentiles find the good Jerusalem? Made up of the Saints and Martyrs?

God's temple is in heaven. Jesus was the goal of the earthly temple. Once he was reborn as eternal, he runs the heavenly temple.

I think you are both wrong and not wrong here.
Because of reductionism, we can see God's template from the micro to the macro. Everything God creates is an expression of Himself.
So in that, yes, in a general sense the Temple can be said to be a representation of the whole of creation.
But in a specific sense, the Temple was a representation of a specific thing.
The Jews who insist the messiah must build/rebuild the temple have an inverted understanding of things.
The entire purpose of the people of Israel is to be a spiritual refinery and the end product of that refinery is Jesus Christ.
Jesus, a perfect man is in the full and unadulterated image of God.
So first the Tabernacle, and then later the Temple were blue prints. They were representations of the perfect man, the second Adam, the messiah Jesus Christ who is to come.
Just as a builder first consults a blue print before he gets the substantiation of that blue print, all the laws and ceremonies and objects that God had the Jews engage with were preparation for them to eventually engage with Jesus.
Jesus didn't build the Temple. Jesus 'is' the temple made flesh.
That is why he said 'if you tear down this temple, I will rebuild it in three days'. And after they crucified him, he resurrected in three days.
The people of Israel understand what they had to do, but they did not understand why they had to do it. If they had listened to Jesus then he would have taught them.
Let's have a discussion about it on my channel?

I disagree heavily where you say "Everything God creates is an expression of Himself" because God created darkness, yet the Scripture also states that God is light and in Him there is no darkness. So how exactly is darkness an expression of God, if He is completely opposed to it? Likewise there are great evils in this world that are certainly not fragments of God's soul or mirror images of His nature. The Latin half of the church pre-schism would completely disagree with all of this

“And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was”. This is a different darkness than “evil” which we symbolize with “darkness”.
The evils in the world are a result of man with his free will trying to play God. God didn’t create those evils. Man did.

Jesus Is The Temple. The intellect has no ability to comprehend spiritual meanings behind texts, this is Why we call this the Spiritual Dark Ages, where none can now work.

The Jews worshipped Remphan, the First Temple was destroyed. The Jews persecuted Jesus and His disciples, the Second temple was destroyed. The Jews wait for the building of the Third Temple and the Antichrist. God save us all from Remphan and the Seven Year Tribulation. Yeshua Hamashiach is come in the flesh.
