Don't know if you've been told already, and maybe you have, but the way she is dressed even down to the dark colored hair is her taking inspiration from her grandmother Marjorie. Taylor looks alot like her. You should check out that lyric video. Warning: it's a tearjerker but a very beautiful tribute to her grandmother. RIP Marjorie.

IM SCREAMING THAT YOU THOUGHT IT WAS ALEXANDER SKARSGARD!! There’s actually a theory that this song is really about him and their relationship on the set of the movie The Giver where they both played minor roles and that this music video is based off that scenario.

I think the inspiration for the music video was the romance between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. (which explains to me why she has dark hair and theres vintage clothing, planes, etc) Also, in the song "Ready For It', she says "burton to this taylor". So I'm guessing that's a power couple for her! Some fans say this song is actually about Alexandar Skarsgaard after they worked on the movie The Giver. Not sure if she had a fling but maybe a crush and it's inspired from that.
The Giver was also filmed in South Africa and she had dark hair in it. And supposedly he was at least flirting with her and showing interest, but he ended up with Katie Holmes (also in the movie). 🤷🏻♀️
