aaaand now i'm crying. this is my favorite marvel edit of all time, and i keep coming back to it. today i watched it because it is the one year anniversary of endgame being released in theaters. it's been a hard day. marvel is one of, if not the greatest thing to ever happen to me. saying goodbye at the end of that movie broke my heart. i know there will be more movies -- but let's face it. it will never, ever be the same. watching this, i began crying tears of mixed emotion. sadness that i can't go back in time and watch these films for the first time again. sadness that tony and steve are gone, and the rest of the avengers will never be the same. sadness that i will never live a life like theirs with those people. but then, among that, happiness. because out of the millions of years of this planet, i happened to be alive at the same time as these stories. and that has got to count for something. thank you for everything, Marvel. the heartbreak was worth it. until next time.
I've watched this at least 500 times, and all I can say is I wish they could have used this as like a mid credits scene/tribute in Endgame, I love it so much. It makes me cry every time at the "Why can't we give love one more chance." And at the Stan Lee memorium part
