You've done a really lovely job on this! The F of D is one of my favourite railways and your vid. represents it beautifully capturing the atmosphere to perfection.
We moved to the forest to retire 8 years ago, best thing we ever done. ive been on a lot of railways in my time, the dean has got to be the best, There is a magic about it.
You certainly give value for money Kris. Another excellent film, with some nice locations. I liked the closing sequence of shots at Parkend too. Great sounds from the loco's as well. Very enjoyable. All the best....Tim.
Really great video here, loved the shot of 1401 departing low level taken from the level crossing, never seen that angle before! I liked the ending with the profile of Parkend, very well restored station indeed, thumbs up!
bellissimo video molto belle le riprese con un stupendo convoglio con loc epoca molto fantastica la locomotiva complimenti per la ripresa di questo video grazie un caro saluto dallo sicilia giuseppe
Some excellent shots, thanks. Not sure who will use Whitecroft station, though. There's really only a pub and a shop there. Had a look at it on Saturday on my way back from another railway just up the road, that we both know well. Looks lovely, but a bit of a luxury, I'd have thought.
What a great video! So well done! I love the GWR and in particular 14xx and Pannier tanks. I'll have to see if I can fit this railway into my travels when I visit England for the first time next year. :-)
Absolutely gorgeous, rail and scenery, I'd love to live here. I'm confused on one point though, for the first start the semaphore goes up to indicate clear ahead but when the freight is stopped later, the semaphore goes down...am I missing something? If I ever win the US lottery, I will be making contributions to all these small steam railroads to keep the culture and traditions alive, I grew up with them and others should be able to enjoy them too.
I just love an 0-4-2 double Autocoach combo - oh and the Prairie oh and everything else too. Lovely Vid - worth waiting for 👍🏻
I absolutely love the autotrain especially the 14xx

What beautiful scenery, and what beautiful engines! Ah, if only we had something like this in the States! Beautiful work!
An excellent video, as a GWR man I enjoyed that and watched all the way through, thanks for sharing.

Heck yes do so
Well I do try ;) Thank you Tim. Yeah thought it would be a good idea to do some station shots around there, especially the way out sign to end it.
Very nice Kris with some lovely shots. 5*
FANTASTIC!
You seriously need to get some GWR Toad brake vans working. Very nice film though I must revisit soon
Same here, I think it's could be that UA-cam sometimes randomly unsubscribes people they think are "inactive users", strange that.

Cheers Tom =) It is a great railway. In regards to the uploading, I leave my laptop on overnight ;)
Thank you Roger =)
Thank you very much Tim =) I wonder what railway that could be? =P Hadn't really thought about the usage of Whitecroft Station myself.
What's this loco's number? Its got the 14xx's number from The Titfield Thunderbolt.
1450 - it was done up as 1401 for the North Norfolk's Boltfield Thundertit weekend.
Duck and Oliver!
I really wish somebody could get the Wye Valley Railway rebuilt. Imagine travelling by steam train from Monmouth to Lydney via the WVR.
Thank you mate =)
Nice videos mate, i need a visit to that lovey line. Just wondering how the earth can you upload a video nearly 30mins for a full 1080p HD video?
OLIVER
Good
I thought I was already susbscribed to be honest haha, weird that I wasn't.
what engine is that? its not an e2 is it?
Evatron it’s a 14xx great western tank engine
No E2s have survived, not even in North Western Railway blue livery.
Thank you mate =)
