It would be difficult for me to express the joy I feel about the dam removal and river restoration. I do regret that some people and businesses will be hurt by the change, but the overall benefits will be felt from the headwaters all the way out into the Pacific Ocean. However, removing the dams is just one step in the restoration process. Creeks and streams will also need to be restored so that beavers, otters, and other game will return to their native habitats. The tribes are doing everything possible to bring back health to the river and to save what remains of their culture. I thank them for their efforts and hope others will agree. This restoration is to me one of the greatest work projects of my lifetime.
A couple people who run the dam will need to transfer to another job. There will be more fish, so you might have the urge to go to the river more.🤷🏻♂️

No. Only people's feelings because they miss the ruined version of the river.
