I know this comment was 5 years ago but as someone who owns one of these, they work pretty damn well with high gain, fuzz, etc. though the humbuckers from factory could be replaced with something better. But for what they are, they do what they do best. I hope to convert mine to a lefty and use it for heavier songs (drop c stuff) especially on my first gig, only feels right that my first guitar gets to see my first gig (sorry for the rambling I just love these guitars so much)
