- I do not own any rights to the above mentioned video. It is from an old game from the 1990's that is no longer in active circulation.
This is the victorious walk-thru for Day 3 of Dracula Unleashed. It includes all the winning and harmless scenes of Day 3.
Day 3, however, is where I personally wonder if the game went over budget or decided to film "red herring" clues that don't effect the results of the game. Some of those "alternate scenes" will be downloaded, and those scenes don't affect the outcome of the day or the outcome of the game.
For example, the major "red herring" is the whole Leopold S. story-line, concerning his dead wife. It could have had better writing or more detail. In fact, the whole white cloth in Andrew Bowen's dead hand becomes a total non-issue, in spite of it unlocking the University for you, if you happened to purchase a volume of Byron at the Goldacre and Horner bookstore. Yes , you can give Leopold S. the cloth, but he just storms off and the story-line basically ends. [Or you can make the same visit without it and Leopold just sits there ranting and raving and the story-line just seems to end the exact same way, but without any illusion of closure. Basically from the details the game gave us, Leopold's dead wife was the first Bloofer Lady of the Dracula Unleashed game. In fact, you won't see the first Bloofer Lady again, unless you visit the graveyard on Days 2 or 3 during the hours of 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and that isn't to be recommended since she quickly attacks you and rips Alexander's throat out, off screen. She can also be seen after Day 3, if you happen to stay awake over 48 hours and you pass out on a street corner and she basically shows up and attacks. Now maybe you could explain the Bloofer away once you know some details about that amulet of power in Day 4, but seriously I don't totally buy that explanation. However, you almost have to use that subplot to make sense of her disappearance. Because seriously, where does she go? Once they focus on Dracula, the whole Bloofer Lady story-line just vanishes.
As said, there are a few alternate scenes that don't change the outcome of the day or the game. If you forget to return Jonathan's journal in the morning on Day 3, you can catch a private moment between Jonathan and Mina. As noted, if you don't give Leopold the cloth, he simply starts ranting and just stays in his seat. If you rescue Van Helsing you can go to the pub without the journal, but if you show the journal to the scholar, you can still win the day.
Now the main thing here to do on this day is protect Van Helsing and make sense of the manuscript you found in the bookstore. If you are unable to do these things, Alexander will die at 9:00pm when he runs into a wolf and gets mauled. [The wolf most likely is Dracula.]
If you don't save Van Helsing at the Asylum, you can play directionless until you either visit the Harker House after 6:00 or until 9:00 when the wolf just shows up and attacks Alexander. The wake scene assumes Alexander never went to asylum.
This day is the shortest video and shows the way to win to enter day 4.
