I always rewatch these. I have been on five Disney cruises and if you haven’t been on one I would definitely recommend it. Just being on the ship is so magical. You will sometimes be walking through the halls and they will ask you to move aside because a character is coming by. It is so magical being there for the shows as well. just a note if you haven’t been on a Disney cruise. You may see that they use a lot of fog from fog machines and it rolls into the first and second rows. My family and I sit in the balcony cause you get a good view and you don’t get a face full of fog 😂

This is pretty much exactly how they are still running it in 2022 on the Magic. Honestly, no reason to update it because it really is still magical in person. I went both nights it was running because it really is worth seeing twice.
They’ve enhanced the projections and a new laser for Tinkerbel on both ships. A huge difference between when I watched it in 2018 and 2021 on the Magic

Yeah but I prefer how that Peter was dressed because it was more accurate to the film but I do prefer this one because they seem to put a lot more content into it although when she was carrying Simba at the end it really annoyed me I was like just leave the cub on the bed/ off stage
Timothy they most likely used recordings from the same cruise and since it is a cruise they only have a certain amount of cast members so they reuse people and it’s cool when on a cruise to see who was who and who is playing another part.

I don't know if someone also has the same opinion as I do but I think that the old one is superior, from those vocals and the castings especially the two main characters. I ship them also but Peter won't fall for that (in character but we don't know in real life). I also found comments that the old one's Peter and Ann Marie was real based on their interaction throughout the play. I don't know if it's actually true HAHAHAH

I like some of the updates they made. The choreography for the Prince Ali & Under the Sea numbers look fantastic in the new version. And I’m glad they fixed the feather in Prince Ali’s hat - it drove me NUTS when I saw the older version had an orange feather. But they still never found a way to incorporate the Genie despite Peter Pan’s song saying Annemarie needing “genies, Princesses & kings” to fly.
I want to know who voiced Sebastian and Olaf, because I get a feeling they used real original actors (not sure about Sebastian, that could've been just a record). But Olaf is voiced by Josh Gad...can't be two people with the same voices.

I always rewatch these. I have been on five Disney cruises and if you haven’t been on one I would definitely recommend it. Just being on the ship is so magical. You will sometimes be walking through the halls and they will ask you to move aside because a character is coming by. It is so magical being there for the shows as well. just a note if you haven’t been on a Disney cruise. You may see that they use a lot of fog from fog machines and it rolls into the first and second rows. My family and I sit in the balcony cause you get a good view and you don’t get a face full of fog 😂

I just came off a Magic 5 night voyage. The show looks as majestic as it is presented. One of the most beautiful shows I've seen in the Walt Disney Theatre.
I have literally watch this more than 20 days. It makes me cry because it has Peter Pan (My favourite character ever), it has all the best Disney characters ever, it's a great musical and it has a great message.

Last year (2018) My musical theatre teacher got to go on a Disney Cruise ship and play Peter Pan! I wonder if he got to be Peter for this show. Probably! (look up josephambrosia on Insagram! He has a picture of himself as Peter Pan on there. Hopefully I'll get to see him at the studio I took his musical theatre lessons in soon)

Madison Mahlendorf maybe it was the persons that were switched. There’s already someone wearing the gown at the back (if you’ll look closely, their backdrop that certain time has a straight line which may be turned into a passageway). Then for the singing part, since there was actually some time before the prince and Cinderella sang, the girl with the costume at first and the singer for Cinderella might have probably switched costumes :))

I like some of the updates they made. The choreography for the Prince Ali & Under the Sea numbers look fantastic in the new version. And I’m glad they fixed the feather in Prince Ali’s hat - it drove me NUTS when I saw the older version had an orange feather. But they still never found a way to incorporate the Genie despite Peter Pan’s song saying Annemarie needing “genies, Princesses & kings” to fly.
