It's absolutely necessary to understand the basics of HTML, DOM tree, CSS and XPath selectors before using some high-level selectors provided by any test framework. Frameworks will change. CSS and XPath selectors will stay. How to play with HTML locally as I did? 1. download the html file drive.google.com/file/d/1uN3OfXoPnoEfb_WCGHOHpBUy1sWI1BQX/view?usp=sharing 2. open the file in your favourite code/text editor. 3. change HTML and save it. 4. open this HTML document using any Browser. Happy learning :)
Thank you for the quality content! After watching your testing videos, I was able to significantly increase my knowledge and get a job (everything you talked about came in handy). I started looking into automated testing and I already understand that the quality here is not inferior to the previous course.
Я слушал Иллариона на русском. Потом учил с ним украинску мову. Теперь перешел вместе с ним, на английский. Потрясающий человек наш автор видео, делаешь СНГ крайне мультиязычным сообществом. Ждем хинди)
Question from the dummy: How your console finds expected elements before enter. My show nothing and I can't understand how and what to change. It's bothering me a lot!
Привіт, цікава твоя думка з приводу вищої освіти. Як ти вважаєш чи потрібна вона для працевлаштування (IT) в Україні або реальних знань у голові і пройдені курси достатньо, а диплом не так уже й важливо?
I have a video about results of my students. All 4 found jobs without ANY higher education. So short answer is - education is not necessary. If you are 16-18 y.o. and thinking whether it's worth getting higher technical education then I would suggest you to enter the best technical university you can and study hard.
💪 Thanks! java, js/ts, c#, python, you-name-it - all these are the same thing when it comes to automation. Find a selector, do an action, write an assert (AAA). Write a Page Object. Write an HTTP request. Connect to DB. Write SQL/nosql queries. Even the APIs of frameworks and tools are usually the same.
Thanks! Next few months I will be publishing only videos for this automation course in English. Don't have any plans after this course yet. So who knows who knows...

Just curious, how many years of experience do you have with java?
