Brother , need your guidance - getting job offer drom sweden but they are asking me to sign 1 yr contract and then mutally agreed make it permanent after 1 year.

Is 1 yr contract intially for work visa is normal in sweden as they saying if they put permanent with 4 month probation then getting work visa is difficult?
Also company is small compare to my current organizations so it is worth to take risk by coming to sweden?

If you have work permit, then only you will be able to work here and in your UT card the validity will be 2 years if it is a ICT VISA.
If you are in doubt , then you should not risk. Thats my advise. Please do a proper research about the company

We write the contract as an agreed fixed time employment for one year.
If we want to proceed with each other, the contract after one year falls over into a permanent employment.
We will apply for an EU- blue card.
Your View to this? Is this is risk they way they want contract to be?
What about families where husbands work and wives are housewives? Should they go to Sweden (assuming Wife is not interested in working in Sweden too) and husbands earn good packages working from home with no rent expenses in India?

brother, my question - 😀my husband got Job offer in Sweden at 65 sek pm with 18 yr It exp, and He is also having good job in India (~42 inr Lpa), we are also having 2 kids and i am House wife. Also one more thing Sweden employer is asking my husband to sign up for 1 yr contract and then on mutual agreement to make it permanent their on along with EU blue card. What is your advice should we move to Sweden?

Sweden is expensive country. 65 sek pm means 5 sek - 10 sek per month will simply go in your rent and if you not pay tax your children study is so expensive that you might need to bring more money from India. 42 Lakhs PA means you can save alot and infuse money in PPF to become millionaire but in Sweden you will never become a millionaire.. Here is just work and work with expenses. So choice is yours you want easy life in India or Hard life in Sweden. Mind it you will face lot of challenges here so be prepared if you want to come.

Nice video Ashutosh but your facts about parental leaves and salary/benefits are wrong ( 8:45 ) . In Sweden, Parental benefit is paid out for 480 days (approximately 16 months) for one child. For 390 days, the compensation is based on your income (these are referred to as sickness benefit level days). For the remaining 90 days, the compensation is set at SEK 180 per day (these are referred to as minimum level days). So, it is NOT 80% of your salary rather the base amount set by FK (försäkringskassan). Plus, it is taxable at 33% (depending on your location but 32% is like normal).

I am software engineer with 8 years of experience. AS my wife planning to study in Sweden, the consultancy we approached provide us list of courses in universities such as halmstad, skovde, Linnaeus and Jonkoping. My concern is if I am coming as a dependent with her will i get an IT job in this places?. Seems like this places are not near to Gothenburg or Stockholm.
