And right when I was done the teacher looked at me and Infront if the whole class and said “not a single thing you just stated happened in the book, and I’ve read that book atleast 5 times.” (It had never occurred to me she might have read it) but she said the artwork was so good she gave me a D- and I didn’t have to redo it. It was also a 4 month book project, top kek.
She also wrote “not accurate but great imagination” on the report when she gave it back to me

It's not that weird actually. I had a GM at a hotel, she could remember literally every single fact about the hotel, she knew cheat codes to the system and could remember whole 9 digit confirmation numbers from weeks before just from seeing them once. She could tell you the exact spot in the handbook where it says whatever and then she could explain why the handbook itself was wrong and how there were better ways of doing things. But when you would ask her what she thought of a movie she watched literally a week before she could barely remember a single thing from it. She couldn't remember half the movies she had seen or books and had to be reminded that she had seen certain shows. She said that anything her brain doesn't see as practical gets thrown away.
