Very informative clear lecture , if i may comment in response to the questions , i worked in Egypt in one of the largest cardiac centers and for Fontan procedure early extubation wasnot practiced , or for BDG , NCPAP was used for various reasons as stated in lecture and to higher extent Bipap . Now i work in Kuwait in referral cardiac center , for Fontan procedure early extubation in the ICU is the standard protocol, as for the BDG , NCPAP was not much used for technical issues but increasingly being used nowadays and for systolic dysfunction ptns mainly BiPAP is the used modality .
