Stanz saying "Once you see the line, the dev's intended path it's not that hard" was a brain blast to me. I having a feeling that the biggest difference between Stanz and Atrioc is terms of gaming is that it feels like Stanz is solving a puzzle, whereas Atrioc is trying to make the puzzle work his way. Not to be parasocial at all, just commenting on what feels like two very disparate approaches to gameplay. "The game clearly doesn't want me to fight the tree sentinel yet, I'm going to go elsewhere" "I MUST KILL HORSE MAN. OR SPEND 7 STRAIGHT HOURS ON RELEASE DAH TRYING."
He's just probably played alot of platformers before - unless you're new to the genre the first few chapters are not hard, and shouldnt take more than 50-100 deaths He also sped through them ignoring alot of routes and collectibles, so got lower than usual
i know that it doesnt matter to anyone else but at 1:19:55 when you asked what game you momentum-fucked in before this, it was portal when you got the covid vaccine
Hey stanz, I'm only an hour into the video but you can turn on inverted climbing in the settings so you'll cling to walls *unless* you hold the climb button. It might be too little to late after 4 hours if playing but it solves your wall bouncing issue

Yeah, I came here to see if anyone else was saying this. I don’t want it to be comparable to the Undertale “meta” play through tha is pushed heavily into any first time players, but it’s hard to watch someone treat the story that so many care so much about as an animated dramatized joke. I get if that’s just how he understands and plays the game, but it’s just so conflicting with how I view the game.
Watching this guy skip everything story related was kind of… incredibly painful to watch. Pays $20 for a game and skips a solid portion of the content? jesus.
I get that he probably just doesn’t understand the game or have much background, but it’s sucks to see someone treat this story as a funny joke. Like, just in the way he reads the lines and interacts with the characters. Also, criticizing the game countless times for “bad design” when he just doesn’t understand the mechanics or how the game works. He’s entitled to an opinion, but it is very hard to watch…
