    Southern Indiana here, rust is everywhere. You grow up learning how to use what you have on hand to do the work you need to do. I dont even own an impact or a compressor. It is all hand tools for EVERYTHING I do. But it gets done! Much love and respect from Southern Indiana brother.

    I'm in Maine. I've seen a few where the threads have rusted away and there's no moving the jam nut without breaking the tie rod. Most of the time we gotta use the torch

    I live down South. We don’t normally have to worry about rust…..accept on cv axles stuck in wheel bearings.

    You're not kidding. I'm from Michigan. I now live in Nashville. The cars don't even rust here. I'm so bummed I did so much rusty work when I didn't have to

    We recommend replacing both the inner and outer Tie rod Ends at the same time...if one has become loose the other has been put through the same amount of wear...and if it isn't loose it may be due to having rust powder build up inside it...and it's better to be safe than sorry...getting that nut off to recover the boot is alot easier with a cut off wheel for us in Minnesota...
