I love two strokes.
It’s crazy though how much power you lose for watercrafts.
I had a modded 440cc two stroke jet ski, and it was still one of the slower vessels.
That same motor on a street bike would’ve screamed past bigger four stroke bikes.

Friend of mine was a bit of an “LC boy”, liked the old RD350LC. He built a motor up out of bits he got from auto jumbles, exchanges with friends. It had standard bore ported barrels marked “LM” for we think Len Manchester, a British tuner. He had the heads machined by a mate with a proper squish band. When he put it in a TZ frame and got it dynoed, just over 70hp for a 350 and big fat torque curve.

WICKEDMS awesome to see somebody still playing with 2strokes. Back in the days when i had my RZ i used to kill the GSXR 750'S light to light. My bike only had portn work, sprocket change, jetted stock carbs, reeds, and Tommy Crawford custom pipes.
Will Harris now we got Wicked, they are the premier RZ and 2stroke builders.

equals, 397cc, 5mm requires some machining in the case to make it fit.
I like it's a drop-in modification to bump displacement, saving the area I can port.
I need to finish restoring my 1983 RZ350 the project stopped when I got kids...

Looks like a corbin seat cover which I dont think they make anymore and CBR600 wheels.
Question: Can I ask about the swing arm on this bike, was it custom made or off the shelf third party.
It looks like a JMC.
Made in England.
No longer in business, but still possible to source on eBay.
Not always a straight swap ( required spacers on both my GSXR1100's and my TL1000S) but they look beautiful when polished.
Keep an eye out for Spondon or Metmachex as well.

That closed throttle decel hurts my soul though
yup, What also hurts our soul more is when the Push rods seizes on the Clutch arm when disengaging the clutch at 10 Rpm on a RZ/Banshee on the dyno. braking set at 90% already.
@@WICKEDMS Oh, thats not what I meant, sorry, just staying on the throttle about 5% helps though, seeing as your hand is on the throttle still.

@@jaded804 yes we have a wicked Motorsports anti seize clutch pusher (some call it the international house of pancake bearings) But no reason to cause pre mature damage if can be avoided.

@@7x779 all depends on conditions. Near junk needed full resto $2500-$4000 original high milage $6,000-$8000. Restored and modded $8000-$20,000 depending on the mods
