Hey guys - absolutely love the podcast! I've been going through and watching all the eps from this year (as a new listener!) This is actually my first episode that I'm watching in the correct week. This will definitely become part of my weekly routine now. And, side note: I've found it really fascinating to revisit earlier eps from this year through your commentaries. It's been funny hearing your theories evolve, knowing what was to actually follow. Loved this week. I thought the special 'what if?' episode was brilliant and so clever. I had theorised myself that we'd get cameos from the likes of Mick, Angie and Keanu - which would've been exciting but I'm actually glad we didn't get that. Whilst we had the expected dream sequence, it was still all very real, raw and ugly - in a way that I think ghosts would've only diluted (even if they would've been quite fun. Especially Angie!) Thursday's ep was a rollercoaster. I was absolutely not expecting so much to come out. The drugs reveal... Denise's confession... and of course Elaine hearing the recording. Didn't see any of that coming before Christmas Day! I still think Junior will be the one to publicly expose his and Cindy's affair after hearing what she said about him on it. I expect Elaine will share the recording with him, knowing it would immediately end their affair and he'll then be the one to get revenge against Cindy for essentially using him as a substitute for his dad. It's all so messy and very exciting. I also think we're going to get a Max return on Christmas Day. Do you think that's likely? 👀 Merry Christmas to you both and look forward to more eps :)
We are getting some crazy episodes lately and I think we may not be appreciating enough what we are actually getting. It’s been one of the best eras ever. And when it ends I think we are all going to have the blues for a while. Thank you for the podcast as always 💯
Kellie bright performance on Monday was brilliant she needs award for this and I think elaine going to start blackmailing cindy with this recording now and what annoyed me the most was when lauren saying what cindy did in the hospital and peter not believing her like seriously come on why would she make something like that up for make it make since and merry 🎅🏻 🎄 christmas and happy and new year rob and ree
Great episode guys, thank you for always providing great content, I’m always talking back to you like in the the room! 😂 Have a lovely Christmas and I can’t wait for your reaction to Christmas eps!
For about a year now, I've been watching both Eastenders and Coronation Street. There are a lot of similarities, which is to be expected in the soap genre, but this week there has been a convergence of sorts. On both shows this week, two apparent thugs walked into a salon. The scenes played out differently, but it was odd how they started from the same basic premise, almost as if the writers planned it this way. Furthermore, had the BBC not altered the week's schedule, the episodes would have both aired on Wednesday. I need to stop before I overthink this. Otherwise, I'm going to craft a theory about Cindy Beale being Leanne Battersby's mother, and about Lily Slater and Lily Platt being the same person (same first name, resemble one another, never seen together).
Ravi is the last of the 7 men to get involved in the 6 storyline from the main people that could of died that day Keanu - Dead Jack - Knows Rocky - In prison for snooping Phil - Knows Nish - Knows and confessed for it Dean - in Prison because they tried to frame him and the Linda stuff And now Ravi Knows about the Denise stuff!
I think (somehow) that junior will be the one that releases the recording of the affair: he’ll be crushed when he hears that Cindy thinks of George when she’s with him. George will be upset with Elaine not saying anything.
I have nothing but hot takes as always these days. I thought there was nothing wrong with the "fantasy" episode, the acting was good, etc, but I just sort of tuned out because I knew where it was going so there were no stakes. I've also had it with "woe is me" Jean complaining about not being able to make do. The best gifts can be homemade with a little thought, attention, creativity, and care. These are the ones the people closest to me remember and that touched them.

Rob, if the writers kill off Kojo, I’m going to hold you personally responsible 😭😭😭
@@StephenStepz I have thought right from Kojo’s first appearance that he had been invented purely to break hearts… hope I’m wrong!
Apart from children, Kojo is the purest soul in the history of soaps. He must live!
