Daewon went in to this mission with no intentions of being greedy or winning. But because he went in with that mindset, worked patiently with a group of inexperienced dancers, he was able to rank high. He proved to everyone that hard work pays off, that he’s team player, and that he’s a real angel. I think that’s enough to deserve a spot in the top 9 ☺️

Chiyeul is truly an Angel as well for giving him that one boot. Chiyeul saw what the others didn't in Daewon
It's like, Daewon's goal is to help others and perform on stage.. He never became greedy whenever there's a team mission.. And we've seen how upset he was about Lee Geon's treatment to him during the show, but he still didnt hold a grudge against him and kept supporting Lee Geon.. Save this angel please..

Daewon is such a nice guy, everyone else didn't want to waste their time teaching Mas how to dance, but he was really nice, patient and supportive so that they did really well in the end, I'm really thankful and he's definitely one of my favorite contestants! My favorite is Dongmyeong haha

They made SO much progress in such a short time. They were definitely the best in progressing and building their skills SO FAST. I'm so impressed as a dancer. They didn't have the cleanest lines, or the smoothest transitions but they MADE A GREAT STAGE, THE ENERGY AND EFFORT IS AMAZING YOU CAN'T HELP BUT SMILE.
Awhhh I'm proud of Daewon for helping them out and even though all the members in this team have 2 boots or less they still did good

The girls were all so touched with this group's performance.. They can all relate to MAS coz everyone went through that phase; where you dont know anything so you have to work hard to catch up with others.. Daewon, you angel.. Even though you are the best dancer in this group, you still let others take the center spot.. I hope you keep soaring with your invisible wings.. And then there's Jungha, who kept encouraging and silently supporting everyone.. Seriously, this fine man deserves recognition too..
I know it’s late since most of MAS has been eliminated, but props to them for throwing themselves in to this full force. They really meant it when they announced during team selecting that they’re willing to work hard if someone was willing to teach them.

I don't know if anyone else notices and appreciates how lovely Daewon is. He helped them so much! Obv it couldnt have been easy but even after all of that, he doesnt even take credit for it. When he was asked if he taught them he was like "Yes, we all did it together". When Dongmyeong was complimented, DID YOU SEE THIS ANGELS FACE?! T.T hes so talented, yet hes always willing to lay low to let others have their shining moment. This boy. I really genuinely hope he succeeds. 💕

MAS is now under RBW and as Onewe. They debuted in the beginning of 2019 and is the “brother” group of Oneus
i love seeing how daewon can't hide his honest expression when he is feeling proud of his group,happy and nervous it all shows directly on his face....i remember the dance battle...he is so cute...
I’ve watched this over 8 times because of Dongmyeong because while he was smiling and performing I’ve felt like he’s truly enjoying that moment on stage performing but the rest of the team white really amazing too especially the mas members
Daewon is such a great leader! How he handled his group in practicing steps, brings out the skill in those 5 members in the band esp. Dongmyeong aww all smiley! He didnt push them too hard to practice and he's patient and very friendly with his groupmates. respect for the MAS band as well. they all did great!!! Daewon fighting :)

I recently watching The Unit its been a year but fron the start when Daewon bowing his head from the audience I already like him and watching him being patient and hardworking person aaa baby you are really an angel and when Jungha said "You're MAS you can do it" I like it people surround them dont expect something special to them but they always did their best and all people shocked because of their improvement..
Dongmyeong is so cute 💖 he's like a little angel who praise an another angel named Daewon 😭💖
I feel so bad whenever I rewatch this vid and saw that during interim test everyone was being so apathetic towards them

They became the band Onewe under the RBW label which is the brother band to Oneus. I highly recommend checking Onewe out because they have hecka bops

I found them as Onewe now
Dongmyeong has always been so smiley whenever he dances tbh. When he and the other onewe members (previously named MAS) performed their sunbae's song Hip on mcountdown he was dancing the choreography while playing the piano guitar. It's like, regardless of what he's doing on stage, he will always have fun in the end.
I watched this again after 3 years with different focus... 3 years ago, I watched this and only recognized how angelic Daewon was. This time again I still respect and admire Daewon, Jian and Jungha. Also, I just realized how stupid I was for not recognizing how brave, positive and hardworking Onewe members were.😭 I only get a grip of myself when I think of how Onewe went through this damn same thing on PD101 and I Shall Debut too. How persistent and positive they are!!!!!
You should check out Onewe (MAS) they redebuted as Onewe. Also check Oneus, they are Onewe's brother group, Dongmyeong twin brother, xion is also in Oneus. 🥰💜

Daewon was the best. He took his time. Gave put positive vibes. Kept a low tone voice never yelled complimented when they did well. He repeated the steps to them. You can see him saying again over and over again to step by step until all were in sync or had it. Good job

don't underestimate the person, yes they're band , but we still don't know what capability they have inside because they showing to us kung saan sila mas confident. When i watch this years ago.. I only know about Dongmyeong but not well-known about MAS. But now, after i watch "Shall I debut" Onewe(Mas new name) i re-watch The Unit again to see this members in here.
