I was once in the crash zone to the rear of the Aurora looking for the Reaper and I backed up a little bit in order to see better due to the small FOV, and I hit something. I assumed it was the sand dune there and ignored it, only to bump into something immediately after. I turn around, it was that Reaper. Never shat my pants faster in my life.
@@PotatoesMightBeBrownthat was me the first time I saw one in the crash zone after leaving the aurora again. But I just love the reapers so much!! They‘re so cool! I‘m still not that far into the game and where did I go? Into the mountains and the dunes 😭 Tbh it wasn’t on purpose really, I realized AFTERWARDS that I went there. Was just chilling with a reaper in the dunes and with a reaper and a warper in the mountains. They let me explore two wreckages peacefully. Then, when I went to go back to mountain island, the reaper‘s face suddenly appeared RIGHT next to me and I screamed. Went up as fast as I could and nothing happened?? And on my way up, I nearly ran into a second reaper and he didn’t see me?? But I mean how sweet of the reaper to let me explore a wreckage 20 minutes next to him and only attack when I was leaving! And then I left and he didn’t follow! Very polite.
@@lilalizzard I’m a changed man after those four weeks, I’ve killed a reaper and an adult ghost leviathan. But now I don’t kill them I just observe them politely

In one of my save files, I had a base that was on a plateau right above/next to the blood kelp zone. I had a lot of issues with creatures clipping through that piece of land, including the ghost leviathan, who would just show up outside of my base sometimes, bite me, and then phase back into the damn floor.
@@TwiliPaladin It was a while ago, so I don't really remember unfortunately. I want to say it's likely whichever zone has the entrance to the lost river?
@@withercat1801 Both Blood Kelp Zones has an entrance to the lost river. However it is definitely the Northern because ghost Leviathans don't spawn in the blood kelp trench (Southern), at least from my gameplay
If you want leviathans to stop harassing your cyclops, turn of the engine for a minute. If you look at the radar on to the right of the helm, you'll notice a faint blue sphere around the hologram of your cyclops. That sphere represents the the distance at which leviathans (Plus crabsquids & ampeels) can hear the engine and can aggro onto it. When a leviathan is ramming the cyclops, they often bug out and struggle to land their bite hit-box on the hull, due to the collision hit-boxes being goofy, which usually results in them pushing you around for what feels like an eternity. But this is not the case! If you turn off the engine completely, the cyclops will stop making noise. And although it may be anxiety inducing, after 20-60 seconds of no noise from the cyclops, the leviathan will swim away.
One time I was surfacing for a second, when suddenly a school of fish swam out of the water, going faster and faster, until they just swam up into space at Mach 5💀💀💀
I'm an old time subnautica player who started playing again, the algorithm, must've picked it up cause i never saw any of your vids but that was really funny! Gonna go take a look around your channel
I think one of the most terrifying and hilarious bugs I ever ran into was a Reaper Leviathan grabbing my ship and us somehow rubberbanding far out and away from the Alien Island we were at. So for a good minute or so all I was seeing was a Reaper face ogling me while it damaged my sea moth and the camera going back and forth between the ocean and the sky. It eventually released me and fell somewhere. I could not see where it fell which sucked on its own because it could have been in the safe shallows for all I knew. What convinced me to just reload my last save though was when I, myself, hit the water only to be greeted with murky dark browns. I was behind the damn Aurora.
Once I bonked a Reaper with a drone so many times that he left and I was unable to locate him afterward even without the drone :( Though I admit I didn't try all that hard. I'm only brave when I'm in drone mode.
Man, I must have had EXTREMELY good luck with the bugs in this game because I see so many people getting clipped through cliffs, stuck on terrain and all sorts of gamebreaking nonsense that I never experienced.
Drive into Bloodkelp Trench with the Cyclops to get into Lost River. Collision Bugs galore. I literally had to "punch" the cyclops out of terrain with the prawn suit.

1:30 So nice of the ghost to move your Cyclops for you. I guess not every hostile leviathan is truly "hostile." X)

Subnautica is a flawless game with absolutely NO bugs

That does kinda pull you out of the experience but they are usually harmless and kinda funny but hey unknown worlds was broke while making it

The ghost leviathan is really being a ghost now by going through floors
Was it the northern Blood Kelp Zone or the southern? Because there's two of them.

Omg, that sounds hilarious-
this is the most accurate subnautica play through ive seen
This guy's gonna escape into the upper atmosphere and see a ghost leviathan orbiting under him.
The bugs like creatures being catapulted at Mach II makes the game even funnier. I hope the devs don’t remove this

you can show a single frame of the underside of a reaper when you turn around and it'll still be funny

fun fact the sea leviathan in the lava lakes cn just faze through walls and teleport i'm not even exaggerating
