The absolute pinnacle of this band’s sound. Melodic, brutal, and beautiful.
Love the word brutal but bludgeoning is little worse
Yep....but i like the first album too, more underground. So excellent
@Nathan Von I agree,!! This Álbum is magistraL,!! have a much 💪 💪Stronger Rithm and so Industri
aLMetaLDark!!! !!! !!! 😎👍!! 👊)) ⭐!
Pioneers and visionaries in their style.
The use of samplers and other "industrial" categories are not intrusive which keeps the metal alive in each song.
Icons.
Is a Biggest álbum Of My Discoteque.!.!.! H - K 👮 - 💀!
One of the most important albums in my life. I was 14 when I heard it for the first time. Today I am 41... At least once a week... from start to finish. Love it.
16 years old at that time and them Scorpio vs Cage!!!! F yeah!!!!!
Preach
Same history diferent person! I'm 40.
Hmm... I blasted this in Germany in a US Military Ski Lodge when I was 21!! 🤣 I'm 47
Forever!!!
The rock/heavy metal world should vow down to this album. It's a masterpiece.
If this is rock I'm jesus lol
Rock?! LOL
The album released by Fear Factory that most marked my life for having been one of the gateways to the Metal universe when I heard it in its entirety for the first time, in November 2000. Timeless masterpiece, absolute classic!
Hell yeah! I still have the tshirt
I had the cassette tape of this when I was 13 and now at 41 here I am listening to it still
I love this feeling.
Same!
Just came from home from serving in Bosnia with the British Army when this came out. Pretty much summed up my whole mental attitude at the time. Banger of an album.
Thank you for your service and also .. you have a sick taste in music :)
Greetings from Bosnia.
i remember my grand-ma ordered me this album from columbia house when i was like 9........i told her i wanted a fun factory album ...but she misunderstood...no need to explain why but i had way more than i bargained for!!
You should of made Grandma listen to it!!
She made an excellent mistake
NICE BS STORY..
Lol! Great story
Genius!🤣🤘
This album was made by enslaved cyborgs in the future and sent back in time to warn humanity.
@Krysen Stott You catch on quick!
@Michael Hoffius I love Sepultura and Tool lol
So basically the Terminator?
@Andy M THAT WAS SEPULTURA,YOU TOOL
1995…this album was light years ahead of its time. People are still trying to copy it to this day. This is an unbelievable improvement over soul of a new machine. This is where fear factory became what we know them as.
One of the best bands and albums ever....Genexus is phenomenal too...
Genexus was a superb album, I loved the new songs
I know its a bit harder
But have you ever heard of deeds of flesh?
We are all brothers in metal
If you like Max
I have a lot to discuss with you
Man The Atmospheric Element of " Demanufacture " along with Killer Riffing, Basslines, Drumming and Burton's vocal Chords hadn't been torn to shreds yet.🤘🤘
@Zee Beamlet’s hope the new guy uses proper technique lmao, also it’ll definitely be weird to hear this band with a different singer who’s been there since the literal start
@Zee Beam Honestly, I wish they would bring Burton Back. But it will be interesting to hear someone new.
Looking forward to hearing the new vocalist!
This band always kills it with there power ,distinctive sound and there brutal vocals just never gets old for me.
@Michael Hoffius 🤓
THEIR
hunter killer still hits hard, what a masterpiece.
Pioneers and visionaries in their style.
The use of samplers and other "industrial" categories are not intrusive which keeps the Die Hard Metal alive in each song.
Raymond's drumming style really amazes me, way ahead of his time.
Icons.
A Min Gustame Moito.. désde Ke O Comprei.. . Saudades !!!
Holy shit I haven't listened to this album in 20 years probably. Damn it
Lol same here and this is one of their all killer no filler discs
Me to but now I appreciate their sound much more than my youth
I used to spin this when my daughter was a mere infant... she is now in her mid twenties! 😆
Thanks for this amazing sound of the past that is still one of the best groups I ever listened too !
No Burton, No Fear Factory. [ imho] we all have an opinion. Or we once did!!!!
Always been a favorite of mine, best combination of industrial type sound and metal ever also a huge influence in waking me up about the nature of technology and industrialism and how the state and the industrialists collaborate to control, and enslave us and keep us oppressed.
So much nostalgia
From the 1st bar of this album I'm taken back to that time.. rock on
Raymond Herrera dando cátedra de batería, clasicazo señores!!!!!
@The Phoenix Cycle yes wey
@Jose CFDC They're Mexican?! No way
Great album and tour. Saw them for the first time in 1995. What an awesome show!
I came to this album through the remix-version 2 years later, Remanufacture, as I was also into industrial/metal crossover. That one really got me into FF's discography.
Hard to choose between this and “Archetype”, damn great albums.
@A Plus I'm with you archetype second those two tied for first
Yes. Obsolete.
That's wild. To me Demanu and Obsolete are like a one-two punch. Archetype is filthy good, though; probably their angriest album.
This, Archetype, and Genexus as my third favorite.
Really? Not even close. Demanufactured for sure. Their 2nd best album next to "Soul of a New Machine"
Just my opinion.
Music is subjective to every listener.
The most important album of my life. God bless you FF!
I remember walking home from school with my Sony cdwalkman on listening to this every day for a year. Hole cut in my blazer for the Walkman and just in my own head the whole way home every day. Amazing memories
hahahhahahah me too !!!!!!!!!!!
I listened to that on a Walkman too, all Summer and that year, but especially summer, and I was working, and feeling not so good about my work so dog day sunrise was my favorite song, but also all other songs!! I had Machine Head on the other side of the cassette.
Then as now loved the crunchy riffing, Bell's mixture of both shouty and almost religious style vocals, plus the subtle use of synths.
very well sorted, centered and performed heavy music pleasure!
did u take off ur glasses to type that?
Best industrial metal album ever, perfection!
1995 ,probably the most important year in the underground music ! FF is the life !
this album is a masterpiece, thanks for the upload
I remember this being released, great album. FF at their zenith.
Bon album ;
Been looking to change up my mix & now I'm being nostalgic listening to this masterpiece.
Thing is they never managed to get to this level ever again. Just perfection.
this album was a gift from my mother in 1995 in my 17 birthday. an instant classic for muy ears.
i had soul of a new machine. so i didnt even have choice had to have Demanufacture. i even got the ribcage/barcode tatted on left fore arm 1st real tatoo 17yrs old as well
I heard it at first on 2005 in school! It gaves me power
Fuck yeah. This album still kicks my ass, and i love it.
A perfeição do metal industrial 🤘😎🤘
É verdade
Zero signal gives me body chills ! Instantly takes me back to Scorpions appearance in the OG Mortal Kombat movie 🤘
Zero signal has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. It's superb.
Welcome
It makes me feel of Terminator 2 instantly
I'm feeling stoned just by listening to this... Very fond memories of blasting this album! lol 🤘🤘
I listen to this before I go to bed. It helps me sleep.
@ShapeshifteR-TheAmorphousGameCat If it was boring I wouldn't be listening to it.
Is it THAT boring to you? Lol!
I listened this album after alcohol. Was power whole long night.
The intro to Body Hammer is the best thing in the history of things
my favorite ff song up there w/ crash test
This is one of the most heaviest beautiful albums i've heard in my life this is beautiful
This music will be ever modern
Postmodern
I love this album especially dog day sunrise because it was my life back then!
Holy Crap! This is better than anything out, today. 🤣
terminator metal
Godflesh on crack. 😎💥
Damn!!!
For Me... O ff CoursE...bross..!!??
une pure tuerie.merci leo trash
'Therapy for Pain' saved my life.
😊😊grandissimo gruppo
Still sounds great in 2035 - in my digital prison planet - the Terminator's favorite band. The Cyborg exoskeleton's are dancing to New Breed.
I saw Fear Factory in NYC, with Primer55 , Drykill Logic, and Puya. Great Show at The Hammerstein Ballroom on 34th street. It was the " Digimortal" Tour. I really started to Dig that Album.🤘🤘🤘🤘
@Zeb Feezell Holy Cow.🤘🤘
@J B 🤘🤘
Primer55 sucked
1st time ozzfest 99 dallas almost got heatstroke in the pit well worth it
I never heard of fear factory until I heard the song 0 sign from the mortal Kombat movie. I've never been disappointed ever since then.
Would be great to get a new lp release of this masterpiece.
Extremely hard to get...
Holy crap... Fear 😨 factory
One of modern metals archetypal albums.
Self bias resistor,The song that made me realize i was a slave, the song that enraged me,the song that made me a spiritual warrior. Now there arent masters in my life.except Me.Thank you FF.
Add to that Meshuggah Destroy Erase Improve
Colin Richardson did a trio of albums that defined the sound of modern metal. With help from Eddie van Halen and Peavey
Colin Richardson great man, but this album Rhys Fulber (Front line assembly) remastered after Colin...
Damn, i miss this times so much!
Boy, this brings me right back to high school. 😂
I was 16, with a demanufacture tshirt, it seems the word in my hand, had everything l need
My favorite album n band😎🤟
Very very influental for the genre, great album! One of the best production sounds also, guitars and drums are very satisfying, and fun to headbang to 🤟
EXPLAIN ONCE AGAIN,WHO IT INFLUENCED?
YEAHHH is fucking excellent 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
I had soul of a new machine after seeing them open for Obituary on the end complete tour.
But they disappeared and forgot about them thinking they were one and done so i.go to the wiz which is out of business to buy Paul simon Graceland and while on line I noticed this on the new release shelf by the register.
I grabbed it checked both sides of the cd making sure it was a new release and from that day on Fear Factory were my favorite metal band
.
True Story
This album was so close to being one of those perfect cover to cover listens...and then the decision to add Dog Day Sunrise happened. An otherwise perfect album.
02:38 perfect music to get a set of 10-12 in
the best album 🤘🤘
Que barbaro el maestro Dino
absolutley amzing stuff. still fresh
all the 90s babies know what the hell going on
Beast of an album .this digimortal and genexus
This album shows Fear Factory's Influence is the great Type O Negative... Peter Steele would have been proud
Or Still is proud.
Listening to song 11. A Therapy for pain kinda gives me Type O Negative vibes, anyone else get that ?
Toujours excellent
GREAT TIMES!!
New breed is fitting song to doom eternal.
This album is super FUCKing eargasmic......my definition of this album is INDUSTRIAL/DEATH/GROOVE METAL goes in hand....from the first track to the last track is beyond amazing
Perfection to the core
industrial just it.

Haven't heard it in a long time... 😬
This album is very tasty
if this song "body hammer" was ever to be played live and i were in the pit during the song...
x none of you would live x
i guarantee it.
Try me with hk killer
memories!
Easily their best album. Obsolete was second best. Then they just fell off the fucking map
Well we are still listening........?
I put this as their 2nd best. "Soul of a New Machine" is my favorite. Obsolete 3rd.
I remember the tour! So good! Soma san Diego sucked hard back then.
For every separate technique on display? there's a better example - but as a combination of elements? completely unmatched brutality with intelligent rhythms that make Square Pusher wish he'd learned the drums.
T I M E L E S S B O D Y O F A R T
