It's always nice to see stories like this. A fallen tree blocking a line could cause lots of trouble, but it was handled like a minor inconvenience that was easily remedied. And it's always a pleasure to see the old timers proven wrong by youth
I enjoyed this. It felt like something that could've fit into Season 4, in terms of the writing. I do like how both Duke and Amelia were humble and willing to learn.
It's only natural that Duke would have reservations about having youngsters at the helm. All he needs to do is see them in action, see if they can prove him wrong.
This was a fantastic story. The new controller certainly does know what she's doing. But Duke needed a bit of help from a fallen tree to help him to understand things.
Well now there’s a good surprise, first the small railway has a new controller and now the Skarloey Railway, but we all know that the fat controller’s family tradition has changed since from Sir Topham Hatt 1 to the next and the next
Now that’s really impressive! Well done! Keep up the great work! I do have a couple of questions for you. 1. Is it possible for any of your stories worth free to adapt to the television format? If so, that’s great. If not, that’s fine. 2. In what year is Duke and the New Controller set in the lore of Thomas and Friends, if you don’t mind me asking. Because I see Ivo Hugh at the end of this video. Let me know if you have any answers to these questions. Have a wonderful day! ^^
@@kazanu23I couldn’t hear much from Peter Sam’s talking other than puffing sounds and the soundtrack, if you’re thinking about that blue engine with the #40 who passed by that’s Vincent
Quite an enjoyable episode. But I could not work out what the new controllers family name is. "Coulter" was it? And the subtitles could not get the spelling of the word right either. Keep up the good work.😅
@@ShunterProductions Thanks for the swift response. I had noticed. And I thought "Oh Nancy. The girl who polished the engines domes, in the illustrations!". My my. Time has passed. After breakfast, I shall go listen to some of your other episodes. Very good plots and nice Easter egg references to go and find.

Stories that place Sodor into the 21st century with details such as a cellular phone are great. Furthermore, this is a simple story.
A great family dynamic for the Skarloey Railway. Nicely done Aaron.

I love this story, it's so sweet, simple! I love the dialogue between the engines, especially!

Never thought I would see Duke being a hypocrite!
A very good story Shunter. It would be interesting seeing how engines would feel about young people taking jobs on the railway.
I was watching that
That was a brilliant Story the first time I watched it! A new Skarloey Controller, who is in fact related to Nancy from 'Gallant Old Engine'!
Fabulous episode! I loved seeing Duke warm up to Amelia
Very nice work
Fantastic job! Nice to have a story about the narrow gauge engines
Amazing as always Shunter Production especially how you got Narrow Gauge to narrorate this.
This was amazing dude.
Loved this.
All aboard for more stories from shunterproductions
Amelia's model looks like Emily Helen Hatt from Sodor: The Modern Years with black hair.

Who’s number
@jaanshersaeed4541 98462, listen carefully at that time frame; it is background audio

Nice video mate, just out of curiosity. Are there any characters i could voice in your future videos?? Big fan and best wishes as always. 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it. There will be roles coming up in the future. I'll let you know
@@ShunterProductions thank you mate, big fan of your videos. 🚂

Her name is spelt Qaultraugh but is pronounced "Kwaltra" fun fact: she is the grand daughter of Nancy (the guard's daughter)
