#1 A: Dont start the ride until youre absolutly sure who that stranger is in the back seat. I always say how ya doing to see how they answer. If they cant impress me by being civil I dont let then ride. Its MY car and MY time and I do not waste it on some a hole who thinks Im the reason why their life sucks. I do 120 plus pick ups a week and make more money than 90% of them . Remember you are a private contractor and have zero obligation to drive anyone anywhere.
This company is making too much money out of my car, my phone, my internet and they pay me a little just for giving me a bridge between me and the client. This is pure exploitation.
My acceptance rate drop from 99% to 83% in the first day of the new upfront fare viewing Drivers are paying to work for Uber and Lyft McDonalds and Burger King is paying better now
Great information & tips I’ve actually learned these tips on my own. I also do not take passengers with low ratings. There’s a reason why a passenger has a low rating. I have had to ask a few people to leave my car. I also complement passengers who have a 4.90 to 5 star rating. I’m friendly and that can also result in a nice tip and usually does. And my compliments are genuine and sincere. Always complement a pasture and have a good rating.
Where does it show the ratings because all I see is a ride popping on the screen and then it doesn't show an immediate rating until after you accept it and then I have to fumble with my phone to look
Anybody else notice uber lying about distances to get you to take a ride just to change it as soon as you do. Or have you noticed them changing pay took a ride this morning said it paid $24 and some change when I dropped them off they only paid me $19
That happened to me this morning. Uber said the trip was 17 miles . When I picked up the passenger and started the ride, it was 25 miles 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
#6 should be #1 these uber drivers accept 10 people in a six seat car and then the people pay the uber x price. You risk 150$ ticket per adult with no seat belt and 500$ ticket for each kid not in a car seat, plus points on your record and your insurance going up. I wish we drivers could all agree to follow the law. If you cancel for them not having carseat call uber and get your cancelation and get that cancelation off your percentage count! Follow the law!
@michaelguertin571 I have had 1 person apologize and said they didn't know, so I let him cancel, but most people tell me off, threaten me and more. So f that
Uber is a completely unprofessional and corrupt company to work with. At various times, I started noticing that I would arbitrarily stop getting trips even when the app said I was in a busy area, which made me lose a lot of income. I had my home city arbitrarily changed as to keep me from getting the bonuses for that city, and to make me lose income. And it takes 2 weeks to change your city back. I had my account turned off arbitrarily telling me that I needed a background check even though I’d had one last month. I had riders reporting me for things I’d never done. If all that excites you, Uber is the place for you to drive.
Mistake Number #2. Don't Continue to drive for Uber🤣 Get a Regular Job and Work your way up. I know the stigma of Uber Driving while looking for a Job but Uber takes up too much time and it is over saturated. Even in CA. I stopped 3 weeks ago
First mistake is applying to drive for criminals in 21 First sentry in nations capital u hat pay 60 cent per mile. If u want to gat depression drive for uber and lyft I know many people that lost their mine within 2 years
Thanks for the information. First time driver. I do have a question. I have an LLC already. should I setup my taxes with LLC instead of using my own SS#? This will be greatly appreciated. If you have a video that would be even better.
I would definitely recommend using both apps. I drove exclusively for Lyft. Then they all but eliminated bonus and streaks two weeks later. Now I can decide which company I want to drive for. For example, I would have easily made $150 less of I drove Lyft tonight. Bonus, streaks, quests and promotions is how we make money. Without those we'd be making below minimum wage, once you subtract expenses.

If you don't like the passenger for that or other reasons and cancel the ride can't they leave you a bad rating?
Car sitting is dangerous. At least in Chicago

Greedy company
Here in DC, they are paying 50% of what they charge
It’s hard to survive in a expensive city, earning a third world country pay

yeah I thought I peeped that too yesterday but I thought I was tripping, if thats the case then thats wild asf

If I want Uber pro, which I do, I must significantly increase my acceptance rate. This means I have to take rides I don’t necessarily want.
I was hoping someone will open new platform were customers pay less and drivers get 90%.
Well that's a traditional meter taxi app. Uber pays too much bribes or commission for a government to create its own app for the public.

How many people are we suppose to allow on one trip?
I just find it highly weird that although Uber and Lyft lose money the drivers still don’t make as much either! So this is what I don’t get at all.

Some people don't like to deal with bosses. At least with uber no boss to report or deal with.

Thank you for the video , I am a LYFT driver and I find the information you provide very helpful . I subscribed.

@@donkeydiehard879 Thank you for the tip
Isit Uber driving business is really good in America?
Mistake Number #1. Beginning to Drive for Uber
Why
😮
#1 driving for uber
When is the upfront fare starting in New Jersey ???? Uber takes for ever to do what they have to do
Trust me you don't want the upfront pricing you make less money it's ridiculous they have it here in Houston
@@tmarr111 some of us don't enjoy driving into newark, irvington etc...i'll take the paycut to know where im going
Mistake #2: Believing the money you get during the “honeymoon” period will continue
Except NYC and Seattle pay a minimum wage of around $17-$20.
And an apartment is 2,500. $20’an hour is worth less in those areas than $10 elsewhere. But hey, at lest it feels good making $20 an hour.
@@user-wq5ws1qs7xexactly I would never do ride share if it paid hourly u actually losing money
lol lefties are crazy
Is it true once you aren’t a beginner Uber cuts your pay?
It's the opposite, once you become a senior Uber gives you more paying jobs.
Rides
First mistake is driving Uber.
Second mistake is driving Uber.
Just for you
Then why tf are you here
Uber is taking half what you make.
No one in their right minds are becoming Uber drivers lol
