Steven's 2 day tournament Dec 7 - Dec 8 2024!

Some highlights (and a low light or two) from the games last weekend. Steven played very well vs some strong teams from Oakland. They were able to get 1st place in the 10u division! A big step up in competition level and the teams rose to the challenge!
In one of the games the ref lectured him for complaining about calls. After the game we went to them and he apologized for complaining and having bad sportsmanship. They said he is a good player and that he didn't need to foul and even showed him a few moves to learn!
In the second game someone headbutt his tooth in the first few minutes and it started to bleed. He wasn't quite himself the whole game but he didn't cry and pushed himself through.
He's learning to go up strong when he gets a rebound near the rim after pump faking.
