UPDATE: I have played v.085 and the Betty cooldown is still 5 minutes, i used a timer to confirm it!
If betty is not working for u, i recommend switching servers but that's the only thing i recommend since im not a dev :rip:

thank you for the help, I recently had 5k and was about to get thunder and when I got the quest to go to butterfly mansion I reset and was about to grind for the tp to butterfly mansion (since I already spent my 2 map points) but then I had a feeling that it would bug so I went and checked, when I went I needed to get 5k again I was pissed but after watching this video i don’t need to farm rice and wagon for 1 hour and a half now. tysm

Skip the fishing rod part. Fishing takes too long and the minigame is really hard.

Almost gave up on this game while doing meditation but I finished after 20-30 mins
So the best way for me to get wen is doing the long way and just fish for hours or the short way which is friending a player and asking him for 10k wen so that I can afford getting a new breathing (which I'm not gonna do).
When you go fishing make sure your camera angle is facing behind because a lot of time there will be people trying to backstab you
The first spot you found the diamond the server i was in it was right there

Fishing is what I mentioned in this video. You’re correct but you can make it even better by talking to Betty every 5 minutes and claiming 500 yen without any effort with the locations I’ve shown in the video.
So every 5 minutes, talk to Betty for 500 yen
During the cooldown, you put a timer and fish
That way, you’re getting 500 yen every 5 minutes guaranteed plus the fish you accumulate overtime

For me I found a way to do Betty’s quest every 2 minutes by doing her quest then leaving the game and re joining. Trust me it’s faster than waiting for her cool down.

on the diamond ring one you could do the quest and then rejoin/hop servers for the timer to reset so u dont need to wait 5 minutes

For what I do for the grind.
1. Do the gem quest.
2. Rejoin. ( set spawn in the village )
3. Go to the gem quest.
4. Do it.
5. Repeat and boom you are rich
