Khawaja Asif presented Pakistan`s case very well. He spoke the truth, we cannot divorce the present from the past. Pakistan which used to be a staunch US ally was left alone after the conclusion of the Soviet defeat.

I don't know what made you arrive at that opinion. We need to stand as one nation. We may have personal likes and dislikes, but nothing is above the country. If someone serves the country then that person should be commended regardless of the caste, creed, gender or political affiliation.
On one hand Asif confess that you people altered the history, the narrative, chose new heroes etc. to radicalize the population using religion.. And yet he ended up repeating the same propaganda here again himself.

News anchor is just an news anchor. I don't know why Pakistani politicians address them as they are a country (most of the cases USA). Instead of saying "you did that or that" they should say "USA did...or didn't" or the country in question.

so what Pakistan is responsible for that they say haqani is in Pakistan. tell me one thing Taliban have 40% Afghanistan in there control so why they should hide in Pakistan. OK if accept your arrangements that Pakistan is supporting Taliban and they are coming from Pakistan so why America and Afghanistan didn't control there borders so no one in or out without passport

even though I disagree with some part of what he said but one point I liked when he said "we will help you leave Afghanistan as a crowned successor military action is a folly" lol basically you have lost the war go with a bit of dignity and we will help to escort you from defeat
Mr. Khawaja Asif appears to have genuine remorse for the way Islamic fundamentalism has torn apart his country. This needs to be reversed somehow. I think the world community needs to support people like him in the best interest of not only his country but also the region.

Foreign Minister declared himself as a apprentice diplomat. He could not explain Pakistan's point of view with logic instead he became apologetic and accepted the situation as a mistake . He said we had no resources to deal with that. Strange statement that Nawaz Sharif staked his political career for achieving or stabilizing relation with India. Unfortunate
It is not in Pakistan army interest to resolve the Kashmir issue because once it is resolved the Pakistani army losses its control over Pakistani Government. The army in Pakistan has to bought under democratically elected Political establishments complete control to resolve Kashmir issue. The USA should refrain from supporting the Pakistani army if it wants to resolve Afghanistan and Kashmir. And support people Like Khawaja Muhammad ASIF.
