Klaus Kinski look like a vampire with down syndrome. And he’s not intimidating as Nosferatu. Bro looked goofy as hell carrying that coffin through the cemetery.
@ghettoplex thats an incredibly false statement. You cant guarantee that. The only way you can maybe guarantee that is if you show the most casual of casual movie goers, and even then those people wouldnt watch any version of nosferatu in the first place.
And then the pacing and imagery is better in the 1922 version. As much as i like eggers, everyone in this movie had a fast travel button and teleported everywhere. There was no real plot driving passage of time elements that the 79 version or 22 version had. The jiurney to the castle alone in the 79 versin was some of the best imagery ever bro.
The cinematography and pacing of the 79 version is skillfully inferior. I prefer the 1922 version over it. The imagery still no where near the composition of the new one, that’s crazy to say it’s visually better. But either way, real “original” one is Bram Stoker’s Dracula anyways. Which is the best version.
I saw the 2024 nosferatu and it was awful. The pacing was awful for a 2 hour movie. The 3 day curse at the end of the movie was literally 30 minutes. Orlock mustache was dumb. The majority of the movie they hunted for the count at night? Like why? The ending was literally foreshadowed in the beginning. The boat seen was stupid. Once again hunting for orlock at night. Absolutely awful movie
If I were to rank them it would be 2024, 1922, 2023 and would never recommend the 1979. Either way, without Bram Stoker we get none of them. So shout out to the real OG, Dracula.
Dull and Orlok looks like a zombie version of Magnum PI HAHA. Klaus Kinski's version is better...

It does not compete with Nosferatu by Werner Herzog, which is more philosophical and profound.
I will always like the real, one and only original from 1922.
The original remake is 10x better
The one from last year? 2023?
Ellen
Eh nope
Its not superior to the classic lol
I guarantee if you show anyone all 4 versions of Nosferatu, they’ll pick the 2024 version.

Literally nothing makes it better than the original. It's just bloated with typical Egger mumbo-jumbo.
