I have to say he did a good job and know he did a lot of work replacing the stones because I restoned mine and out of all the belts I did this has to be the one that seemed like I was forever picking the stones out.
A little advice for you watch little tiny screw that holds the dollar linkages together check them each time you are moving the belt around as they like to unscrew themselves, and the last thing you want is to be losing them and the strap fall apart.

Hi Andrew, when a belt is restoned, do the plates have any scratches from the process of removing the old stones, or the drilling?

John McKinley only if the person doing the work is not careful. Otherwise the plates should stay in the same condition they were already in.
