I was disgusted with what Simon said. Has he had a bunny before? I've owned my rabbit for 2 years now and she truly is my best friend. If you leave a rabbit in a cage or hutch the obviously they will do nothing because they have nothing to do. It's only when most people in the bunny community and shai show how incredible these animals are if you just give them more space, more respect and treat them how we treat our dogs and cats. Obviously animals are still animals and we cannot expect them to be perfect all the time. Simon should know this as a judge. Bunnies as prey animals will usually only show this kind of trust with its owner or in their own home. So for bini to be on a huge stage with thousands of people cheering and to still do those tricks, hes incredible and we should all be so so proud❤
Simon has no idea on rabbits. He would put a rabbit in a hutch outside and expect great things from him. My bunny was so sassy, cheeky, sweet, opinionated... the list goes on! Bunnies are simply amazing but still misunderstood by many.

I have a Holland Lop like Bini at home, He knows several tricks but he refuses to do them in front of new friends or even family he's not familiar with. The fact that Bini did what he did in front of an audience, with lights and sounds and loud music was impressive. @@Parfanity2 years after just to say he didn't wanted to say that in that way I think, but in the way that's they are prey animal so their instinct tell them to worry about the crowd, the noise ect. I had to work a lot with mine because of that to make her able to do tricks and parkour in front of other people.

Aw, rabbits can get so anxious when they’re around such loud noise and commotion. He did so much better at home when he was with Shia, someone he knows and trusts. Any responsible and attentive rabbit owner can tell you it can be very hard to get a rabbit to get comfortable around you. And especially in a room on thousands of people with lights and noises, he did very well under those circumstances❤️
They have a youtube channel called "Bini The Bunny" for those who wants to see Bini actually do these tricks...I think because there was so much noises the bunny is stressed and isn't able to do the tricks..I have a bunny myself so this hits home 😔
Bini has more talent than most other animals - he can do all the things that Shai said he could on the show and more - just check out all Bini the Bunny's videos here on UA-cam. The unfamiliar surroundings, noises, comments, cheering and bright lights of a live televised show have been known to make human performers too nervous to give their best performance on their first attempt and yet given a second chance, they can go on to shine. Bini can do it if he has time to get used to all these things, then he'll relax and amaze everyone! Go on, Bini - show the world that bunnies really do have talent!

You do have a good point. I think Bini struggled because his main focus was on scouting out the place and establishing escape paths (that’s the nature of a prey animal). He doesn’t seem to be afraid though, which is impressive in itself tbh.
Aww, they said yes out of guilt/pity. But Bini really is clever. I don’t think he and Shai are gonna make it far in this completion, and Bini is pretty old for a rabbit so I hope this doesn’t stress him too much. Hope it turns out to be a nice experience for them both though.
It doesn't matter how far they get, it matters what people think of rabbits. A lot of the hare they he is because people don't understand how rabbits are different

Simon made me VERY mad. Rabbits are VERY smart and I know from experience. Ive had rabbits my whole life and they are better than dogs. Bini probably just didn’t like all the loud noises and new smells. One of my past rabbits chased a soccer ball up and down the hallway but she NEVER did it anywhere else where there were new smells and people. I would give Bini 10,000 yeses!!!!
If you love rabbits why put them through that stress? Rabbits are prey and as such feel vulnerable in this type of unfamiliar environment. Poor Bini is clearly distressed there.

Bini is an unusually brave rabbit and I think he was more uncomfortable than frightened, as he was still motivated by the treats. However, he clearly just wanted to get more familiar with the space and find out what escape paths he had at his disposal. I think Shai believes this is a great way to get the message out that rabbits are more extraordinary than people think, but I worry that it’ll have an adverse effect and get people putting their rabbits in stressful situations thinking they’ll be just as brave as Bini. Rabbits can be so stoic, particularly lops, that sometimes we don’t realise when they’re stressed or uncomfortable.

Loud noises like the ones from the audience and the music score on stage can cause extreme stress on rabbits. They get easily scared. He should have explained that condition and asked them not to make so much noise. A simple wave of applause can scare rabbits intensely. Bini knows how to do the tricks, he was just scared by all this mess and loud noises.

Unlike dogs (and other animals a top of the food chain), rabbits (and other prey animals) tend to get nervous and/or frightened when suddenly introduced into a new environment. (But in the end of AGT, it's the judge's opinion...)

Simons answer was absolutely disgusting and abhorrent. He’s never even fucking OWNED a rabbit before and is making assumptions about how Bini has no potential whatsoever. That bunny was put in front of hundreds of people, and bunnies can get scared, just like people can too. I have a bunny and he has completely changed me and my family’s view on animals. My dad and my brother used to eat meat before but after adopting Corey and seeing how cruel they were to eat such innocent animals, my brother and dad left meat. We also understand now that animals need love and respect; I mean, theres no other bunny for Corey to play with! We give our Corey and always other bunnies respect and love, and their gratitude back for us is unbelievable. Bunnies can do so many things that we humans are too blind to do. They are more curious, they even know what food is poison to them if it’s placed right in front of them. And Bini was SO brave to do what he did and did an absolutely amazing job, as did the owner who respectfully took Simon’s hate. Simons assumption and attitude was bitchy and irresponsible.

Me too have a bunny that knows any tricks but she never performs those if there are other people to observe her. Bunnies are so, they are very sensitive animals but they are special for that very reason
This wasn't really fair to Bini. He was too old to compete. He is 10 years old. Too bad he wasn't on the show a few years ago when he was in his prime. Bini is truly a remarkable rabbit.

Imagine being a rabbit .. who can easily hear a sound from 2 miles away in a loud stage setting trying to perform as a prey animal in a room full of predators. That's the difference. Cats and dogs are not PREY animals. Rabbits have more to worry about and therefore seem easily distracted. This is not the case. Rabbits are just as intelligent as a dog. They just display it differently at times. Bini was PHENOMENAL considering all of these factors. He was SO brave. SO focused, for someone who has to worry if their audience wants to eat them. Simon can eat a D***. Rabbits are every bit the companion any other house pet can be. That was the message. These are not dumb cage animals. They deserve love, appreciation, and respect. The human - rabbit bond can run just as deep as any other!

As a mini lop owner, they are definetely not stunt animals lol. They do what they want at the time they want... and always with food involved lol. My Cookie does not take leashes for nothing and love to eat flowers and wires lol. She does cuddle with my hand and falls asleep that way too *-*

Rabbits are naturally very scared. Because of all the noise and people, Bini was not able to perform many tricks. And Whatever Simon said is not true at all. Bunnies are capable of a lot! If you don't have any experience with a rabbit, don't tell those things. Rabbits are very different from dogs! And rabbits do not belong in the garden!!!!!!! Domestic rabbits are indoor animals just like dogs and cats! I can go on ranting about this, but I don't want to make this comment LONG
The thing is, my bunny knows way more tricks than what was shown here... However, he freezes up the moment there are any new people around, and especially if I take him outside 😅 So honestly, Bini did a pretty good job all things considered!

I think with any animal you have to be patient. They may want to do the trick one day then doesn’t want to do it the next day.
Rabbits are prey animals, they like to be at home, otherwise they feel danger and they have to stay safe, that is why she was scared.

We give our Corey and always other bunnies respect and love, and their gratitude back for us is unbelievable. Bunnies can do so many things that we humans are too blind to do. They are more curious, they even know what food is poison to them if it’s placed right in front of them. And Bini was SO brave to do what he did and did an absolutely amazing job, as did the owner who respectfully took Simon’s hate. Simons assumption and attitude was bitchy and irresponsible.

That judge Simon was so rude like common now? i don’t think Simon understood anything about animals… he should understand that bunnies are more sensitive to sound and crowded places , and i am sure all animals are! So people need to understand to be more patient and understanding with animals 💕

After seeing what cute Bini & Shai were performing on the talent show, I might get me a bunny pet. After all, in this lunar Chinese New Year, it’s the year of the ‘Rabbit’ 🐇
Imagine being a rabbit .. who can easily hear a sound from 2 miles away in a loud stage setting trying to perform as a prey animal in a room full of predators. That's the difference. Cats and dogs are not PREY animals. Rabbits have more to worry about and therefore seem easily distracted. This is not the case. Rabbits are just as intelligent as a dog. They just display it differently at times. Bini was PHENOMENAL considering all of these factors. He was SO brave. SO focused, for someone who has to worry if their audience wants to eat them. Simon can eat a D***. Rabbits are every bit the companion any other house pet can be. That was the message. These are not dumb cage animals. They deserve love, appreciation, and respect. The human - rabbit bond can run just as deep as any other!

Rabbits are naturally very scared. Because of all the noise and people, Bini was not able to perform many tricks. And Whatever Simon said is not true at all. Bunnies are capable of a lot! If you don't have any experience with a rabbit, don't tell those things. Rabbits are very different from dogs! And rabbits do not belong in the garden!!!!!!! Domestic rabbits are indoor animals just like dogs and cats! I can go on ranting about this, but I don't want to make this comment LONG
