She has a right to deal with situations in her way. She changed those officers and now they will be recognized many times and be put in their place by others.
She basically created a ripple which can keep going for years. It will build into a wave and blend with other waves. She actually just created hope.

If others follow her example it will end badly for them. A black male would have been put down and arrested for obstruction. This is not the conduct that will let you walk away from a interaction with police. This was a one off situation please do not follow her example. This video is going to cause alot of bad police encounters if conduct is mirrored.

So just be accused of stealing In front of her child and she shouldn't yell notice you didn't say one word about the person who called the cops that's bringing a gun in for something she was accused of doing and wasn't doing so instead of yall talking about she was yelling should be talking about the person who called.

You're absolutely right, but law enforcement think that regular citizens don't have resources to challenge them, or we're 'in the system', which strengthens their word against ours, OR we're so ignorant and dumb, and don't know the law or anything else. We all know the recruiting requirements for law enforcement, and 'the bar' is set pretty low. Hell, the recruiting requirements for me to join the USMC in 1990 was crazy high! Something to think about when you think of what law enforcement does in comparison to what United States Marines does, and the pay differences, medical differences, dental differences, and retirement differences.

I disagree. She was loud, however, she was able to articulate herself appropriately as she displayed confidence. She was also able to articulate that yelling is NOT a law.
Police officers know exactly who to take advantage of and when they themselves should STOP.
She did NOT fumble with her words nor did sound uneducated.
    Excellent in my opinion.

Respectfully disagree with your comments on "take it down a notch," simply because she stood her ground. Lawyer or not police are not always right and for the most part mistreat innocent citizens just because they can. Just because they are police does not give them the right to mistreat citizens. The entire legal system which includes judges is corrupt. The people who are supposed to defend and uphold the law are often the ones who break it just because they feel like that can.

Excellent advice on how to conduct yourself when encountering the police. That video was the exception not the rule. I would not advise a lawyer or citizen to make that a habit when dealing with the police. Once the officers decide to not arrest her and return to their vehicles she should have ceased. It could have escalated into something else. Lawyers can get arrested too.

I appreciate your position but I respectfully disagree. I understand that we can get killed for exercising our right but I respect those that don't stand down. I have gotten snippy with those race soldiers in the past with a little fear but was compelled to "stand my ground". I'm still here. But hey , I get your points.

I appreciate this video, but I wholeheartedly disagree with your assertion that black people shouldn’t be assertive of their rights… if you wish to stifle your own self in that type of interaction, then I respect that. But I implore all black people to educate themselves on their rights and the laws of their states. THEN STAND ON THOSE RIGHTS like this sister did here!

You made one incorrect statement that the South don't like black people we in the South don't what color you are we like black people just as much as we like there's a lot of black people in the South and they are loved then you show a clip with the southern flag when is people going to realize in the south of the Southern flag is a sign of the culture the country the Southern life that you're looking at it in the wrong way just figured I would say something to help you understand yes racism does exist even in the South just like it does everywhere else but it's not excepted by the majority you have to separate the ignorance from the common sense you can't punch everybody up into one group it would be like saying all black people are drug dealing gang members that wouldn't be fair

How do you switch prices on a coat? They are usually attached by a tag machine and not a sticker. And technically you wouldn't be losing $$$ since you got the coat for free. And you would think by now mgmt would inform these racists clerks they need to speak to mgr 1s

They will as soon as they know they are in the wrong they cover their badge and get away as quickly as they possibly can.

They're not supposed to cover their badge number. They need to identify themselves especially if they're being called to investigate a situation that they were called for. He needs to be reprimanded for that!

I understand the anger that the sister had. We get tired of this constant harassment for being black. It’s good she made it without getting hurt or killed.
