Rip Rosmantis. She went from semi-niche to outright replaced. At least she gets to win the prize of being the most powercrept 6-star in the game.
I would say the Rosmontis still has the niche of being the only sniper than can block enemies... but W alter has so much damage that she can outright kill whatever you would want to block, so what's the point?
It's hilarious to me that there is a real chance of Hoerderer skin being fan merch of Eureka and guys playing with the Merc trio will have Walter looking dope, Ines looking Godly and then this dude hitting enemies with a giant Dakimakura of Eureka 😂
they should've make her summon a passive skill of a equipped skill (ex: a passive from skill 2) and manually deployed this things is thicker than Nearl sword + can attack and slow enemies...
Wisadel serves as a reminder of the core principle of gachas in general. They are predatory in their monetization methods and the chances for game breaking powercreep is always around the corner, nothing will change that. But hey, it is what it is, you just gotta learn to live with it.

You say it like you need her to be competitive in PVP, or for the bonus rewards in the event, or for the raid leaderbord/ranking system, or to advance to the next chapters because the current boss is too strong. All of that is THE model for most gacha games and making the old unit useless or weak. Wisadel exist and lot of people keeps beating the game using low level units, 4* only teams, etc, etc and still can get the same rewards and progress as someone with full teams with top tier units.

HG should create proper counter-balans enemies. Unit with reflect like dota 2 blademail or nyx carapace would do. Or dealt more dmg to summoned unit. Just dont go to lazy way like dmg sponge unit in those DoS bs. Or else people would leave to other game just like when GFL realeased the sangviss unit.
Everyone is talking about power creeping/balancing but honestly who cares. The best thing about this game is that you can play it however you wish. If people enjoy brute-forcing it with broken operators, then good on them. If you like playing it more strategically, then good on you.

Lets be honest here, how many people were actually using Rosmontis/Flinger archetype before WAlter dropped? Nobody, other than the niche players. Putting W being Hypergryph’s favorite child aside, she has always been story relevant, so her having Limited/Alter status is not really an issue with me personally. Expecting every new operator to be in line with the old ones isn’t really progressive. Also, the fact that 90% of this game’s content can still be cleared with 3-4 star operators means that the balancing isn’t an issue.

They will scale new enemy unit based on new balans op. If they can make oongaa boonga balans op, POO and DoS bs will become new norm.
