This is a beautiful edit. I've been reading a book that portrays Sissi and Andrássy very similarly to this! It's called Sisi an Empress on her own. I cried when I read her reaction to his death much later on in her life. I have wanted to watch this show but can't find it anywhere.

In real life the love story between and Franz was so sad from what I read when they got a bit older. He loved her so much but she wanted to travel around and basically told him to take a mistress. She was tired of life at court and her kids

De plus sisi n'était pas porter sur le sexe. il y a des ouvrages de Jean des cars qui explique comment ses premiers rapports avec frantz étaient très douloureux avec toute la cour et sa belle mère qui les suivaient à la trace jusque dans la chambre. Elle était très jeune sisi, 16 ans, ne l' oubliez pas! Frantz était un peu plus vieux à leur rencontré, et un peu plus expérimental sur le sujet. De plus les rapports de sisi avec le conte Andrassy ne pouvaient être que d'ordre platonique. Leur amour partagés étaient surtout pour la Hongrie. Je pense que ces questions là ne se posaient même pas à l'époque..sauf si un jour des preuves irréfutables prouvaient le contraire. Des lettres,?des correspondances? des temoins? ..j'en doute.

It is believed that he shot his mistress and then himself. Sissi was when she was 60, murdered by the Italian anarchist Luigi Luccheni in Geneva, Switzerland.

Maria Valeria? I don't know if she looked like FJ, maybe she did. I myself don't see the resemblance in their portraits. Yeah I think it had quite an effect on Maria Valeria that Sissi imposed this Hungarian thing on her. Made her live with her in Hungary, made her speak Hungarian instead of her mother tongue German since a very young age. It was always Sissi's dream life she was forced to live and not her own.
