Tokio Hotel is one of those bands that just get to you. If you found this band at the age of 14, i swear your whole life will be all about them. Then you grow up, and suddenly you're 18. You'll forget about them, little by little, but then, one day, you listen to them again. And that feeling... that feeling brings back SO many memories. They truly helped me through the years, and I'll always love them for that. I might not be their "biggest" fan anymore, but honestly, they ARE underrated.

A friend introduced me to this band when I was 14 & I can't think of another band that had songs that would just, describe every bit of emotion I was going through. 💛

Fun fact: zu der Zeit als Tokio Hotel Zimmer 483 und humanoid gemacht haben, waren sie noch unter einem Knebelvertrag, der sie dazu gezwungen hat solche Rock Musik zu machen, eigentlich wollten sie sich musikalisch schon austoben bevor sie sich mit Drogen zugeballertbhatten und alles den Bach runterging, aber deren Vertrag hatte es nicht erlaubt. Deshalb haben sie sich als ihr Vertrag erfüllt war auch erstmal von der Musik distanziert

@@Paulmatthew22 some people like their new music and some people don't it's a matter of music taste. It doesn't mean they turned bad it just means that you have different music taste. We have the old music to enjoy anyway, and idk what their manager has to do with their music changing. People don't stay the same way forever and I've already seen the same thing happen with other artists like Fall Out Boy and Paramore rock turns to pop. Its also that in the U.S rock music very rarely plays on the radio and if it does its from the 80s 90s or 2000s. They don't want to be "has beens" in the music industry so they might have changed their style of music to fit in with the charts in the U.S if that's the case its pretty sad. Or it could they have just grown up and changed their music genre to reflect that like I said or they might have wanted to explore music genres and not stick to one. Whatever the reason it may be we should respect their decision.

@@melissalittle7967 But they ARE "has beens",.Their new music is OK,.But it doesn't touch the Pinnacle they reached on their LIVE Humannoid Tour,.Now they are a Club Act,.Have never seen a band go from Stadiums to a Club Act on purpose like they did,.Plus they tatted themselves up and got corrupted by the Hollywood scene.,.They should have stayed closer to their ROOTS,.Just a FACT,.If that's "growing up" then that is BAD THING
I may have discovered Tokio hotel many years after they created all these songs and now they've grown up a lot but even though I started listening to them at the beginning of this year they still are currently helping me through a lot and all of their songs hit different and they have a specific feeling of safety and home and I will forever be a fan even if I'll grow up I'll always remember the memories I have of listening to them

You guys! We grew up with them! I was 13 when I found them and now I'm 21. We all saw them grow and change from the teens that couldn't play in the casinos in Vegas to the boys that now live in LA and go to Coachella. I'm so proud of them as well of us aliens that stuck by it all!!

I listen to Tokio Hotel all the time. Even when I have a hard time getting to sleep. Their music has some kind of effect on me. I think that it must be Bill's voice. 1000 Oceans is a wonderful song to listen to.
There was always something deep and entoxicating to their melodies and overal instrumental sound and still very empowering... like really, fire, lit! I see why I used to like them

I enjoy their old music style than their current releases but that's just a personal preference. They're still a great band no matter what music they put out and they look happier now than when they were super famous. They genuinely enjoy making the music they're making and it's like they finally got to enjoy the youth they never had.

I found out about them when I was 8, I'm now 13, turning 14 soon. Discovering them was one of the best things to happen to me. There was a point when I stopped listening to them, and I recently got back into them, and all those feelings came back, rushing into me. I remembered how happy their music made me, and now I can't stop listening to them. I love this band with all of my heart.

Even though it's such a long time ago they released their last album i still love them so much. They just mean so much to me. This is exactly what happened with me. Their new album just wasn't for me and then they kind of disappeared, so i just moved on. I found them out when i was 13 years old and now i am 18. i changed, my tastes changed, but i recently re-listened to some of their old songs and i still love them as much as i used to. With the time, i stoped fangirling them, but the music stays ...
