my own thought is I have hens for 15 years and I know the brand, they are a lot of work, I know the best hens, And what I did Did find, the expets are full of rubbish, To all the eyes a brown are full of eggs, they are brown feathers and yes there is a domamit hen, and will pull feathers off the rest, and will bit you, but they will give eggs everyday unless the dominant takes control, I have had 20 years of it, and the last was picked by my wife, and she wanted them but I had to look after them for 3 years, and saw them all and feed them good, but and changed the hood, and made sure they were safe, But I knew they were dying as I saw the eyes, My wife didn't care, me every one was a Family, did I ear it, Fuck off I did what I needed, Now I put them all int the rubbish, Why ? I was Quick and easy and I felt the death, more than her, I felt the death more than her, She is sick but I looked after and made sure they were locked up everyhnight and she never could, they where and I saw their eyes,I gave everyting, but not enough, It broke my heart, I will never have a animal in the house, again.
I will state this fact , I never wanted them but my Wife wanted them, and she lost interest, not me, and I took control, and it was the hen to make the choice, and a couple chose to go back, after while, and sat on the door and I lift them back in side, the hatch, and I wasn't sure but everynight I watch and they were let free, and yet they were battling of and one was feathered less and I took notice, and a hutch open just I case, So I closed it Over night but open it up everymoring and see what what happens when the sun goes down, see what happens, I go tit and that is why I had a another part,

The pheasant seemed stressed out from the incident.
As of a few weeks ago I removed this rooster and now they are with a rooster of about half the size.
