She's a Pillar of Hololive, most of us wouldn't be here if not for her famous clips. One of the most reliable senpais, very few people are as endearing as her, always there to support everyone even at the expense of her PONness.
Very, very few people have that natural Comedic timing like she does, not even pekora. I am so proud seeing how far she has grown throughout the years, so so glad she didn't give up in the earlier days🖤

As Polka and A-Chan pointed out in the recent [Juicy Deets?] video (timestamp at 17:30), Miko would be less clumsy if she didn't panic and rush into things, but they acknowledge her skills in writing, thumbnail editing, design and management. She may goof up all the time and we poke fun at the girls in good fun, but the fact that she really tries in spite of that, is determined, didn't give up in her earlier days, and is extremely hardworking behind the scenes makes you want to root for our Elite Baby. Things don't always turn out how she wants it but you can't deny that she always tries, and I think that's something a lot of us can get behind.
Hololive wouldn't be where it is today if Miko's clips of GTA, Minecraft and ARK didn't go viral, and it's still pretty wild that people credit those clips from pulling them out of depression or even suicide. By accident on both parties, no less. I doubt most of the girls would be able to do their share of shenanigans if Miko's FAQs didn't become so widely accepted and loved, and maybe the opportunity for them to join wouldn't have existed if Miko's clips didn't spark interest from overseas.
I'm just glad that Yagoo gave her the opportunity to shine, and we gotta credit the 35Ps for suggesting GTA and the other games to her, otherwise we probably wouldn't be watching and enjoying clips of the madness these comedi- IDOLS provide. She's great the way she is.
And seriously, I was born in the mid 80's. Miko going in blind and playing my childhood classics that made such a huge cultural impact on entertainment and pop culture, there's just no way I could resist watching the entire 5 hours. Dangle a carrot in front of me and lead me off a cliff, we're going skydiving.

I don't doubt she can survive even outside Hololive, but the sad part about that is that we our Miko Shaped Heart will he a void.
Those people forgetting that Miko does more behind the scenes than just stream or play games.
We can only imagine the actual scope of her skillset, but you can be sure that she has more than enough capacity to be successful in society even without hitting the vtubing jackpot.
Yeah, her dad is a key animator and character designer of pretty big anime like Ghost in the Shell, Index/Railgun, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Oregairu etc. So she has pretty good genes. She would be fine in any other field, even if she's a bit of a clumsy airhead.
Without a doubt Miko would be doing just fine if she wasn't in Hololive, but I doubt Hololive and other Vtuber agencies would be this popular without Mikochi.
Exactly, like do people remember it was clips of Miko playing GTA that made Hololive go viral worldwide for the first time? And her channel was failing at that time too.
Without Miko, Vtubing as a whole probably wouldn't have been adopted in the west this quickly. HoloEN might have never happened if that audience hadn't grown so large from those viral clips.

IIRC, one of the staff recommended Miko to play GTA, so it is still Hololive that makes miko popular.

I think fans has to understand Miko is playing a character afterall, sometimes the things she do are for comedy sake. In actual fact, I think Miko is very talented, especially in designing stuff. She has a keen eye for details. The thumbnails she designed for her streams, the various WWE2K22 characters are just some example. Plus her twitter posts are very entertaining as well.

She is lucky to be in Hololive but Hololive is lucky AF to have her. I and many, many other overseas fans might never have gotten into Hololive if we hadn't seen Miko's GTA Stay Home back in early 2020. I get they are joking about Miko, but it's kind of a cruel joke and not particularly funny.
The main reason I watch hololive is for miko and her interactions with the others (watame and korone are bussin)

I came to this rabbit hole from the friendly fox and the god of festive's clips. I then proceed to watch the _redacted_ and bugs bunny's streams who are from the same gen. I watch Miko's clips and streams way later in my journey but Miko probably the one that kept me from leaving this rabbit hole. As much as I like the talents' songs and covers, I need some genuine entertainment as well and Miko fulfills that position so well.
