Just got back from 6 weeks vacation in our beloved Pinas. Visited sagada my bucket list. Stayed for 2 days 2!nights. Sumaquing cave and echo valley are the only 2 places I clearly enjoyed in the package was adventurous especially to an active person who loves climbing trekking but the sunrise and blue soil that’s included in the package are both disappointing. Tourist should be informed how long the trek to sunrise valley it was over an hour I feel bad for the older people and some have difficulty in walking fast they have to go back halfway when they realized it is a long walk and pathway is rough as well. Upon reaching the valley of course sunrise is nowhere this is unavoidable because it is nature no sunrise but thick clouds and fogs so we were directed to blue soil another over an hour walk rough paths I’m sorry but seems that blue soil is a scam the rock was scraped and seems to us was spray painted perhaps that was just the group observation and there’s the falls but tour guides discouraged us not to bother because according to them there’s no water on that falls, my question is why are they in the tour package
Better po to book ahead. Maliit lang po kasi ang Sagada and hindi parang city na maraming options. Para di nyo na po problemahin pag andun kayo and diretso tour na po.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO SAGADA ! worst city of the 20 cities i visited in 2 months in the philippines. reason: everything is a rip off, you MUST hire a guide for everything and also you MUST hire their transportation. they are both overpriced. for a solo traveller is horrible, all the agencies do not help you to join other groups because they are state owned, they dont care about profits, bunch of lazy guides. worst city in the philippines, dont waste your time going there.
Grabe sobrang namimiss ko ang Sagada. Sana bumalik na ulit sa normal ang lahat.
Totoo. Sana bumalik na talaga sa normal. :(

First solo trip ko ang Sagada (2011). Very memorable kasi binagyo ako at inabutan ng landslides along the way. Kala ko katapusan ko na.

Is Sagada open to tourists during this time? Do we need to have travel docs (health certificates) as required by most LGUs during the pandemic?
