@@ErikLoney When Alan first signed on, only three of the books had been written and published. He told the director and producer that he needed to talk to J.K. Rowling first. When he did, she gave him the inside information that wouldn't become public knowledge, until "Deathly Hallows" was released in print in 2007. (1/5/2022)

The book series was already complete by the time they were working on The Half Blood Prince so anyone who read the books would already know where everything's headed.
It wasn't the Alan Rickman bit that made me cry, it was the moment that all the names of the deceased appeared in the sky, accompanied by this beautiful track.

I never ever see him (Daniel radcliffe) crying this way not even in the movie. he was always Jolly minded boy. But this feeling shows how much he loved this movie. And Thank you soo much dan, rupert, emma to make our childhood such beautiful. To make all those character visible in front of our eyes. ❤️

I am so glad to be born around the same age as the kids. Instead of watching all in one go or being too old to enjoy HP fully. We got to grow up with them and enjoy the movies in peak hype. It has become a core childhood memory for us.

I bawled soo much when Robbie Coltrane said I won't be here in 50 years but hagrid always will be . Very sad to see soo many actors making this amazing franchise come to life are no longer Alive. Wands at the ready to the sky should've accompanied the end of the music and Always line 🥰

That was a very heart felt thing to watch. The Harry Potter franchise will go on for many a year and decades to come. We have anniversaries for classics like Mary Poppins, Snow White or The Wizard of Oz that will still be celebrated when they reach a 100 years old. Harry Potter will be the same.
It was beautiful how he was remembered and the rest of the cast who have sadly passed away. Dumbledore with his Put - Outer was so endearing.

This movie series will go down in history as arguably one of the best series to have ever been released. And we can all say we were there for it. It’s crazy how fast time flies… Thank you for making such an amazing film series that we will never forget. I still remember all the time I spent in theaters watching these films…

I know Snape was in all the films so everyone on set knew Rickman, but Richard Harris was definitely the biggest name to be casted when the films started and he had one of the coolest personalities ever. Losing him was a big deal for film, not just the franchise.

Just watched this today..amazing reunion. Harry Potter was a big part of my childhood growing up and seeing this made me emotional. Miss it alot... Reading the books & then the movies made me feel like I was in it too on an adventure with them. I even remember (before the 1st movie came out) when we began reading Philosopher's stone in Year 4 in Primary school! Can't believe where time has gone. Missing that period of time is an understatement. Wish they'd make one more film just for the nostalgia.

As a grown woman with children that grew up on Harry Potter’s books and movie’s I cried like a baby watching the reunion. I cried when Alan Rickman died maybe I am just a puddle of tears.
Unlike Snape, a character that I didn't like, Alan Rickman was a very kind man. And a very good actor.

Snape is my favourite character in HP because he's so complex unlike most of the others characters that are just 1 dimensions good vs bad.

It's a shame he's not here anymore, something tells me his unfortunate death is one of the reasons they didn't make the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie, I'm sure he would have done a very good job in the scenes where Snape appears, rest in peace good man

when I was playing the legacy of Hogwarts one of the profesers reminded me of Serverus Snape saw the Harry Potter movies way back when plus enjoyed reading the Harry Potter books sorry for any misspells or mistakes in spelling plus sorry for getting off topic my bad.
Love it! I always wanted more of a backstory to HP. I wrote a teen fantasy (This Peculiar Magic) set in an academy for kids with the worst-ever magical power and gave the lead character the type of backstory I wish we'd had for Harry.
Alan Rickman was such a great actor.

I remember the one time Rupert drew a really ugly drawing of Alan and he was standing right behind him and Alan still had the drawing
Its not here but there's a clip showing Rupert and Daniel laughing away on set. Rickman came up behind them and actually hit them on the head with a book. Of course in the scene we see in the film he doesnt do that, he just shoves their heads onto their books. after that all 3laughed-its a very Snape thing to do!

I really hope they NEVER try to remake Harry Potter. Make new stories or go into backstories or old muggle myths. I read these books to my youngest when he was growing up. Took him to the movies too, and they are perfect the way they are IMHO.
