Hi Vivian, you're very welcome. Thanks for watching! I've been there when the Via del Corso was open to traffic and again when it was closed. I'm not sure of the timing of it all.
I have to say, I really enjoy your videos. What I really appreciate is that you are so quiet and let us absorb the sounds of the street and hussle and bussle of the people. I am going to subscribe to your channel. I can't stand the videos where they just talk and talk and talk. Great job!!
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, as much as possible I want people to watch my videos and feel like it is their tour, not mine. Thanks for subscribing! It really helps me out.
Agreed. The worst videos are the ones where the young girls have their face glued to the camera trying to explain everything to you and saying "I hope you can see this amazing place, blah, blah, blah...." and then the annoying dumb music. I like to hear what the place sounds like and I don't even mind music in the background and even well-informed narration. So tired of the "look at me" I'm in Rome, Venice, Honk Kong, Singapore, Amsterdam videos that are in all essence, useless, unimaginative, uninformative, and mostly irritating. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing video and so quietly walking the streets. You truly captured what it is like to walk the streets of the city and soak up every sight and sound. ❤️

We spent a week wandering around Rome every day for about 8 hours and you captured everything we saw and more. On the big screen it's almost like being back there(without the pickpockets).
I cant thank you enough for this walk... I have not been home for over 6 years - the longest I have been away from Rome. This video is what I needed today. Grazie mille!
You made my adopted city look great. I have lived here for almost 11 years and with all of her problems, Roma is one of my favorite places on earth. I am Roman now, being the wife of a Roman and mother of 4 little Romans (hand gestures and all). I was born in the Bronx to a Cuban and a Puerto Rican and my heart is part Roman too.
These are great and informative videos. The combination of no narration or music to interfere with the virtual experience of walking through your destinations with the nice captioning to explain what is being seen is perfect. I appreciate your work! The downside of these videos is it really makes me hungry to go to (or back to) your destinations and give them a fuller exploration!

Me, my wife & our 14 year old daughter will be visiting Rome for 5 days in May 2019. Watching this video has really helped us to plan our trip as we want to walk to all the sights so we don’t miss anything.
That's great to hear. I'm glad it's helped. Every street has something on it and you can easily not turn down one street and miss something amazing. The only main site I think my walk is missing.........I know there are many...but at least one that I wish I would have included...are the Baths of Caracalla....and from there you are pretty close to the Appian Way. Awesome video! Specially from someone who had just been there a few weeks ago - it brought back good memories from different places in Rome. I so love the place. Thanks.
I was in Rome a year ago this week. I stayed in an apartment in the Pizza di Pietra and had the view of Hadrian's Temple (37:39) at the window of my apartment. Our favorite restaurant was between the apartment and the Pantheon, Er Faciolaro (39:46). This video is fantastic and makes me want to go back to Roma so very much!

Hey Shawn, I have a question for you. DId you watch the entire walk and if so, about how much time did you watch per view? I am working on a Venice video that is about the same length and I can't decide if I should upload in 30 minute segments, 1 hour segments or just upload the entire 5 hour walk. Did you watch this on your smart TV? Did you find it easy to skip ahead, or back, if you needed? Thanks in advance!

Our first night in Rome it was raining lightly and we were a little jet-lagged but we went out for a walk anyway to get some air. It was well after dark and the rain had mostly stopped when we walked through the Porto del Popolo and into the piazza. The lights in the piazza reflects in each of the rain-wet cobblestones and it was like walking across a field of stars. I'll remember that for the rest of my days.

If you haven’t already, please film Southern Tyrol in Italy. There are beautiful little towns there. As I mentioned previously, you’re videos are fantastic!
Congratulations for that awesome video. Amazing picture quality and text. Rome is really really a place where all of us should go and feel. Once feel the history beneath its legs.
I like Rome. The streets are excellent for pedestrians. Clean and large. I like the Saint Andrew Garden. It reminds me of heaven. Also Fountain de Trevi and many others that I saw in your excellent video. Thank you so much for your great work!
Yes, rome is definitely a perfect city for walking. Every street is unique and interesting. It has been fun. There is still more in Rome i want to go walk. Thanks for watching!
Amazing Footage, The Best I have ever seen of ROME . . . from the comfort of my Living room in Portland, Oregon . . . Excellent video . . . keep up the great WORK!
i was in Rome cca 15 years ago, but i was kinda lost all the way....you made it so simple and beautiful that i'm almost ashamed to admit my total confusion at the TREVI FOUNTAIN, that i found out lately that i was there already....silly me, but one thing i remember clearly. it was the PANTHEON, which fitted me the most...i prayed in front of COLLOSEUM, while others did it at St PETERS BASILICA, which is colossal in its own right, BUT NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO YOUR PROWALKS WHICH ARE STUNNING AND MARVELLOUSLY EXPLAINED WITH CAPTIONS AND TITLES (from Sorrento to Sasseto Forest), you are my only tourist guide, so thank you, man!!!!!!!
Wow! That is quite the complement! Yeah i imagine traveling 15 years ago was a much different experience. It is hard to get lost now and pretty easy to plan the trip especially with google earth. Well i have a lot more walks planned..... Hopefully florence, Venice, matera and cairo will all happen in the early fall. I am back in the states for a few weeks now visiting family. I just did a 9 mile walk at mt. St. Helens that I'll get posted up at some point. Thanks for watching!
Hi Sonia, thanks for watching! I have a question for you. Would you find it helpful if I were to introduce the walk at the beginning of the video? Basically, do you want to me at the beginning saying "Welcome to Prowalks. Today we're going to be taking a walking tour of _________. During this walk you will see this, this and this. Click on a timestamp in the video description to skip ahead to specific part of the walk." Would this improve the video....or do you just want to jump right into the walk? Thanks!!
Thanks for asking! In my opinion it would be a nice addition, specially if you provide the opt-out option. Really a good job, almost 6 hours walking in Rome!! ♥♥
Thanks so much for this wonderful video! It may sound ridiculous since I live in Rome, but you made me wanted to have a walk in the center, it is so long I don’t find time to go sightseeing in my own city!! Next Sunday I’ll be a tourist, promised!
Lovely tour, thank you. I also have been to Italy several times many years ago. Also to Rome - even once flew in the day after Christmas. Vatican City was breath-taking during the holidays.
Ohhh. This is an amazing video. Quality is really high. You explained every detail. I will go to Rome at this weekend. Before going to Rome , this video helped me to understand streets of Rome. Thank you so much.
Thanks! That's great to hear. There are a few spelling errors I didn't catch...maybe more than a few. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! Did you notice the Time stamps in the video description so you could skip ahead? I am trying to decide if I need to provide an introduction...with me speaking about what viewers are going to see in the video and how to skip ahead. It can be hard to navigate a 5 hour video. I have a Pompeii video almost finished that is over 4 hours.
Thanks for your reply! I didn't notice any spelling errors at all and I'm amazed you took the time and effort to put captions for all the places you went to along with descriptions and some history. I did not notice you put time stamps in the video description, thanks for letting me know as well although I have been watching continuously without the need to fast forward as I'm really enjoying it :) I also love that you captured all the natural sounds so it's like as if we're walking there together with you. This will be very useful for people who are home bound and are unable to travel - I will recommend your video to my friends. Lastly, I will be in Rome in November this year so this video is very helpful for me. Once again, thanks for doing such a great job and I'll be sure to check out your other videos.

That was wonderful thank you SO much I am 65 I was at the coliseum just before I was 20 over 46 years ago..wow
I was able to stand up in it on a floor above arena n you saw thr lower floor with all the passageways n lock ups for gladiators n animals etc
Was sad n amazing
Your videos are spectacular and make me feel like walking with you in Rome everywhere. Thank you very much indeed. Absolute ProWalks. 👍👍👍
Hey, you're welcome! I'm glad you're enjoying the walks. I need to speed up my work flow. I have many more walks to get posted up. Thanks for watching!
@@ProWalks That's great. Thanks 👍👍👍
Essa é a melhor maneira de registrar na memória o que nossas lembranças vão perdendo com o passar do tempo!Obrigada pelo compartilhamento 😉👍🏻
Really enjoyed this, like a memento of our recent weekend visit to this wonderful city
absolutely love your videos My friend, Grazie! Really enjoy all the art & history of Rome, and all of Italy.
Love, love, love this video. Keep doing this. You’re the best!
Hi, Thanks! Thanks for watching!
I looked at it every minute and I really enjoyed it. So much information. Magnificent. I have been able to extract a lot of information and take my steps back from when I have been there. Now at least I know what that is and where it is.
Amazing walk through Rome! Very well thought and execution. Italy is perfect for walking... and here is the proof! Great job... and keep on walking! There's plenty more for you to explore.
Simply Superb! Informative, entertaining and best of all, no intruding music just the ambient sounds of Rome. Thank you
Hey Ron, Glad you enjoyed the format of it all. Thanks for watching!
I watch everything in 2x speed. Because 5+ hours takes a big chunk out of the day. But even at that speed it's still good to watch.
If you haven’t already, please film Southern Tyrol in Italy. There are beautiful little towns there. As I mentioned previously, you’re videos are fantastic!
Muchas gracias!!!!, excelente video
I'd love to go there. It seems to be everyone's favorite European city.
Go check it out. Lots of cool stuff to see 👍🏼
This is an absolutely wonderful video. We stayed in a hotel just off the Piazza Navonna in 1998. You retrace my steps.
Congratulations for that awesome video.
Amazing picture quality and text.
Rome is really really a place where all of us should go and feel.
Once feel the history beneath its legs.
Hey, thanks! Glad you enjoyed to video and the format.
What amazing walking tours. Thank you so much. They are perfect!
Fantastique vidéo. Merci pour la qualité et merci de ne pas parler. Your work is superb!!!
Thank you for doing this great video .You are the best
Este vídeo me ayudó a recordar mis caminatas por Roma,la mas hermosa y maravillosa ciudad de Europa!
du Mundo
Thanks, love putting this on when I’m reading my kindle!
YOU DO THE BEST TURIST VIDEO ON UA-cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Well that is really great to hear! UA-cam is a big place! Thanks for watching and for supporting my channel!
Thanks For This! 🍕🇮🇹
Hey, you're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Beautifully done my friend!!
I watch your video's all the time, just like being there with you!!
Thank you,great job!!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.I'M VERY APPRECIATE. MISSED ITALY. YOUR VIDEO IS INCREDIBLE
I love your videos! And I appreciate the captions, in order to know where we are "walking"!! Please keep posting, congratulations!
Grazie! It's amazing how much I missed even in the vicinity of the hotel where I stayed (Quirinale). I need more time in Rome.
Thanks a lot, this is really beautiful and a great job.
Thank you so much for making this video!
Hey, you're welcome. I don't mind walking around Rome for 6 hours. :) Thanks for watching!
@@ProWalks thanks for the comment. Do you know if busking is alowed in rome?
This is the best channel for travel ever! What a wonderful magical thing you are all doing!
Lovely tour, thank you. I also have been to Italy several times many years ago. Also to Rome - even once flew in the day after Christmas. Vatican City was breath-taking during the holidays.
I appreciate that. I'll be posting up an updated Rome walk later this summer. There is much more to see.
i enjoy watching your videos feels like a history class in a guided tour
Ohhh. This is an amazing video. Quality is really high. You explained every detail. I will go to Rome at this weekend. Before going to Rome , this video helped me to understand streets of Rome. Thank you so much.
Hey, that's great to hear. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Wonderful tour video. It's incredible that you made all this without once stopping to eat.
Amazing video, love this so much. Your captions are wonderful!!
WOW! Thank you!
I hope to visit Rome again! It’s really impressive work! thanks!
This is GREAT!! Thank You.
Since we are now considering a few days in Rome when we do eventually get to Italy, I'm rediscovering your Rome walks! Looks fantastic. Can't wait to watch every minute to build my own itinerary.
Hey Ken, I have a new Rome walk but I just haven't got around to posting it up yet..and now it is several months old. It is over 6 hours though...which keeps me from wanting to finish it. :)
@@ProWalks can't wait to see it! Come on, you can do it!! We started to think about Rome, but we would have to drop Civita to do it. So we are torn, but oh the Colosseum! And the Roman forum!
Amazing video walk !! Thanks for your upload, this is great job. Regards from Benny.
amazing tour of Rome! I love it so much!
Excellent video 👍🏻
Thank you so much for this wonderful walking tour of Rome!!!!!!
So much fun! Thank you!!!
La città più bella del mondo! ❤️
Amazing. Simply best virtual walking video. Wonderful presentation. Thank you my friend.
Thank you so much! This so beneficial for someone like me will have a trip to Rome.
Hey, you're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for this wonderful video. I live in Rome, but right now I'm stuck at home because of the coronavirus, I can't wait to get out and go back to my long walks in those streets and squares, untill that moment I will enjoy videos like this one!
I enjoy every minute of your video and is half way through. Feel like I am in Rome...........Thanks so much !
