- In this video, TJ shows you why you might be having problems with your Parker rollerball pen ink refill.
If you put in your new Parker rollerball ink cartridge and it keeps falling into the back of the pen barrel, there’s a simple reason why.
Parker rollerball ink cartridges come with two pieces of plastic on both the front and back end.
You only want to remove the longer front plastic piece. The back piece secures the ink, pinning it against the back of the inner barrel.
If you remove this back plastic piece, the ink cartridge will not be secure fastened in the barrel, and that’s why it slips back every time you apply pressure to the page.
If you’ve accidentally thrown away the back plastic piece, sadly, you’ll have to reorder which you can do here: bit.ly/3j2nGm9

I need this refill
is there a spring in the pen at all? I just want to confirm is there is before I buy a refill. I found this in my moms closet and its been in there for a while and she isn't sure. It does not have any ink piece in it so I'm not certain.
There are no springs in Parker Rollerball pens.
Hi, I just bought a new refill for tis pen and it sinks to the bottom and the point retracts, how can I fix this Sir?
This is probably happening because you are missing the black plastic piece that goes on the end of the refill. If you cannot locate that black plastic piece, you will need to buy new refills.
Hello, why the plastic on the back looks like melted/damaged? Is it normal for brand new roller refills to have that? I bought a parker pen and my refil also have that but I was thinkin about complaining to the seller about it.
It does appear that the back of this refill is somewhat melted. This is not true of all Parker refills. We found that it did not affect the usability of the pen.
If you purchase the new Parker rollerball refill, the plastic on the back will look perfect. After you put the refill into the pen, it will be pressed to make sure that it is firmly placed and won't wobble (and it will look like it's melted/damaged). This is normal.
@@oommyjaaso my new pen just came with a `pressed` back this means it's used and I was right to reach out to the seller to ask a new one then. thanks.
@@kripton7120 if the refill you mentioned is already installed in the pen, it's normal to be like that. Hope this helps. ☺️
after put the refill in for the first time, the real plastic one will have some Irregular jagged grooves shows up. is it normal?
We are not sure. We have never experienced that.
