- Welcome to Never Half Throttle Channel. In this video, We ride from one of our favorite trail heads, Locust Gap to Ashland south new trail #177. FRO has 6 trail systems, Burma Rd., Darkwater, Locust Gap, Ashland North and Ashland South, and Tower City. Ashland South Trail #177 is rocky but very fun and will require some patience and little skill. Once there, the views from the tower looking down into the valley of Fountain Springs and points beyond, is gorgeous. Curtis spotted an Eagle cruising the skies above Fountain Springs. This ride took us through Locust Gap,, Ashland North and Ashland South. Riding with us today, we had 2 Pro R's, Honda Talon, KRX 1000, Can Am Maverick x3 XRC RR. Use OnX maps to navigate your way there through all the legal trails and enjoy some of the sights along the way. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I love FRO. Just did Locust Gap this weekend had a great ride. Great videos man! Keep it up. Thnx
This is one of our favorite FRO spots but all locations are fun for sure.
great looking riding, Locust gap is well worth it
Had a blast!!!!! Can’t wait for the next NHT ride👍🏽💪🏽👊🏽
Great job guys. This was a great time and no dust. Locust Gap is some great riding. This may be my favorite system in FRO. Also Hack, THANK YOU. 😁
I was an A class harescramble and enduro guy on ktm since 1997. Im new to sxs. I have skills, but not like your crew. But ill keep up, and if im a burden ill just peel off and find my own way. But you guys seem too keep it fast and safe with lots of support. Cant wait to meet the crew. Fyi. Im from essex md. 150 miles from aoaa.
No worries, no one gets left behind and certainly won’t allow you go at it alone. Some of us live in Delaware, others from upstate NY, NJ and all parts of PA. You’ll be fine.
Kick ass. Now ya got a buddy from Maryland! I'll bring the steamed crabs for next camping adventure. I live on the Chesapeake
@@tadeccleston8879 bring Chris also. He’s always welcome.
Also from Delaware here! Sussex County though, so FRO is a little ways for us but we still go!
@@mattjarusinski1083I’m from Lower Kent and another is from Sussex also. Worth the drive for us. Nothing down here in DE or within 4 hours worth an all day ride. None that I’ve found at least.
I think this is the best spot at FRO, a little bit of everything
What a great ride fellas. Locust Gap is definitely my favorite place to ride. Hell FRO is the place to ride in the North East if you like trail riding. It offers so much. Can't wait to get back out with you guys.
Man you guys haul ass. Love the people and there rides! I'll definitely see you this summer bud. KRX TADPOLE.
Never a dull moment. Looking forward to riding with you.
Another great vid & ride from NHT !! Ironically, I've been to LG a few times but some of the trails you guys rode, wasn't familiar to me, but then again it seems every time i see one of your vids on a trail I've ridden, it all seems unfamiliar which is why I like the content you're putting out. Let's me know that i am missing some good trails. Maybe I need to rely more on the OnX GPS ?
Thank you for the kind words. I use OnX and lifetime maps with old tracks that I’ve ridden from years past.
I love riding there. A little bit of everything.
The reason I got krx was because it has lots of room. I'm 6,5 inches tall. I couldn't fit in my son's talon, or buddy's Polaris. I really like it. But your buddy's Can Am just jumps to attention when ya get on it. When I meet you guys will do some comparison. I was hopeful kawasaki was gona put h2 motor in sxs. 😢
The Kawasaki reveal was very disappointing.
Krx is a big machine. I just got one. It is also a little underwhelming stock as far as speed. But the machine seems tough and just goes through everything. Good looks, just needs a few more horse power. Trails in PA aren’t really made for speed anyway. Most of them are technical and a machine that can go 100 mph isnt really necessary.
Yep
Great video! We usually ride AOAA, but we're going to try FRO this weekend. Are there any places to stop for lunch along the way, or should we bring trail snacks? We usually run downtown at AOAA.
The only property that has town access is the DarkWater property. All other will need trail lunch/snacks and trail beverages. Have fun!
somebody was just talking on fb yesterday about those mine fires from the 60's. that's crazy
It’s a sight to see and a great hand warmer. Lol
