Jus' a clarification for anyone wondering - the clear sheet's called acetate.
May have to make 6 of these in red, purple, blue, brown, yellow and green for a campaign in which the party have to venture into various element-themed dimensions to stop the world from being invaded.
Also, if you got an LED light that switches between being on and flashing, then you could also use that to signify the "health" of the ritual - that'd be pretty epic.
Awesome build here, man, definitely!
great idea.
Number#1 fan here! Your videos are the BEST!!!
Why thank you...Do you know about Patreon...if you become a supporter of the craft you get a exclusive video magazine every month called the Crafter's Lair...It is packed with all kinds of DM Scotty extras.
That sounds interesting! I'll consider it! Thanks for the invitation.
How do you become one.
Your glue gun work is really inspiring. Thanks.
Another AWSOME video, as always...lol. reminded me of the scean from lord of the rings when the pillar of light shoots out the nazgul castle, and the armies start to march out!!11 great video :)
LOVE your ideas Bro!!!! Very cinematic game table Buddy!!!!!
Also, try using Revoltech Skeleton or Re-Ment Pose Skeleton figures for giant skeleton bosses.
Love this. I was pondering how to do something I've been working on, and you've given me a fantastic idea. You're a baws!
Seriously awesome..... as always!
Another great Idea... Thank You!
Wow, wish I could have seen this a couple weeks ago. I tried a similar thing was absolutely NOT as visually striking. Great work!

BobTheBarbarian Very welcome glad you enjoy them.
BobTheBarbarian Death by glue gun sounds awful. It'd take forever!
Love it..Thanks
looks good
Gonna use this for Frostgrave to make some glowing ice crystal thingies :)
Awesome!
I kind of miss the actual creation videos you used to do. Where you showed some of the work live.
fucking kick ass.
(but i think the word you need to use here is necromantic, which is the adjective referring to necromancy. necrotic refers specifically to decaying flesh.)
+codedecode Yep, you are right...Oooops.
I can say only one thing... Green Glitter
I think some day you should video an actual game session.
I have, check out my other vids.
oh! I must have missed it!
Nice job turned out well. I play rpgs but also mini wargaming and ur stuff good for that too imho :)
Very true, it works for both.
I would like to do a necrotic ritual...who among us doesn't? I will need a Tube of Necrotic Light....who among us doesn't?
if i were to do it id put the altar with a cd that has both power levels. all youd have to do is flip it
Hey DMScotty, wanting to make one of these myself but I can't seem to find a low profile headlamp. Could you please tell me the model that you used? Cheers
Mc Gondy Those little floating wedding lights are a good substitute.
