- We just entered Bengal and hit the roads at Kharibari near Siliguri. We grove through the Rishi road to pass by Siliguri and reach Jalpaiguri. There were few bad patches from siliguri to Jalpaiguri for adding to the issues. Do watch entire experience in this video.

Try to return to siliguri from different via chapramari wildlife. That route is more scenic and less traffic.

My guess is that you're not facing police checks, possibly because of your Bharat number plate. Usually, the police stop cars from other states, but in your case, it's different. Another reason could be that police in rural areas might assume a Bharat number plate belongs to a government employee. As an added bonus, since you have a premium vehicle, rural police think twice before stopping Premium cars.

Nice vlog. siliguri corridoor is very dangerous because bhutan, bangaldesh, china, and nepal borders are very close, even china claims a significant amount of arunachal pradesh. If you had gone to the northeast via bangladesh it would have been little fun and safer, thats why i told you few videos ago that go via kolkatta. Army people might be one of the reasons that your drive was so long. happy journey ahead 🚗🚙. I dont think you should night drive in these areas for safety reasons

Also, this Siliguri to guwahati stretch was bad when I went to meghalaya in my slavia 1 month back. But be prepared for bad traffic jams near guwahati.
