Very cool. The combination of artists on that little stage is phenomenal. Elvis Costello doing lead vocals on this fantastic Byrds classic, accompanied by Richard Thompson and David Lindley and others on guitar. Wow. They all seem to be having a fun time.
There used to be a recording of them doing Werewolves of Landon up on the tube but it disappeared. Sad to think I might never hear it again. Thanks for this!
remember seeing a photo of elvis,t-bone,jackson browne, warren zevon and richard thompson from this show in some music magazine in the 80s,but never did think I would actually see footage of it...this is great..Is there anymore from this show? Believe that is Richard's wife Nancy at the end....
Happy 70th birthday Elvis! ❤
zevon and costello on the same stage, nice

Not to mention T Bone Burnett, Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, etc
Thanks for recording a piece of music history! Love it!!!
I was there that night. I remember saying that my entire record collection was on that stage.
that's the coolest thing I've seen in years..man, the mojo on that stage! thanks for sharing that..terrific surprise
What a treasure!
Wow, almost 40 years ago, quite of few of my musical idols!
So many stars on stage don't make the greatest music, but it's still great to see.
haha yes i think this deserves damning with faint praise!
What a groovy vibe. Favorite scene begins@2:01- Read the eyes&body-language middle singer

Elvis joined Roger on stage way back in Ireland during a tour by Roger M
what a fucking line up - when he was really good
Thanks for sharing this, Wayne! I was right there in the front row. What a night celebrating Nancy!!
Who was playing bass?
Great Stageful! Good ole McCabes!
Thanks Wayne! I worked that show, and what a blast! Miss hangin' out in the sound booth with you my friend.
What a gift! Thank you for posting
SUPERB..!!
An amazing video, thanks Wayne for preserving and sharing!
feel like elvis is imploring god to make him a rock 'n' roll star
Why wasn’t I there???
None of the artists were listed for the show. Also you may not have been born by then.
Because only about 150 people fit in the place.
This is so amazing It can be challenging to keep going with our own creative pursuits, but this is definitely an inspiration for my music.
Wow.
Thanks for sharing Wayne! Amazing!!!

David Lindley!!
I’m jealous that I wasn’t even alive when this was happening
This is great! Does any more footage exist from this show?
I can't believe this....What a ridiculous line up of talent!
yeah ...how do you end with that ? !He was just practicing 🌹
Bobby Kimmel was the first performer. Van Dykes Park played second and I believe is the piano player in the video.
John Hiatt on piano
