Awesome stuff Jimmie. I like this it's compact. What are your thoughts on adding a box to enter your club for each shot? This way when it calculates the yardage it will also calculate the percentage of power needed for the selected club. For example, you typically divide the yardage by the club to get the power percentage, but it would be much faster if you could enter the club and it automatically made the calculation for you. A Power bar would be nice too. Question, how do you calculate the wind divisors? Thanks
it's two parts. One is the Gadget pack for windows, and the second on is the gadget clock, you should install Gadget pack first, then Vatch gadget 1. The latest shotcalc2 has a plot grid image located right of the clock image. The grid amount is now shown under the grid plot map (" 2.7G, 3.0G " etc.)
Doesn't make sense. The size of the grid is universal and doesn't change, nor do the wind divisors. The amount of grids you have to aim out depends on distance to the pin in combination with the wind angle and speed, not an adjustment made on the box sizes or the x amount of yards each box is. Also, mapping clubs in this game is totally useless because the distance of your shot depends on the apex of the ballflight, so you can map all you like and play percentage golf but in the end it's not going to do you any favors.
"The size of the grid is universal and doesn't change." (True, it does not.) "Nor do the wind divisors." (They are there if the end user would like to adjust the wind affect on their clubs and spin.) "The number of grids you have to aim out depends on the distance to the pin in combination with the wind angle and speed." (Correct; the program calculates based on that). The AAM is used to adjust the aim calculation per club and spin if needed by the user. "Also, mapping clubs in this game is totally useless because the distance of your shot depends on the apex of the ballflight." (Agreed, I can hit 10 dinged shots and note 4 different apex's and maybe 6 different yardages but it's a starting point for the player to find an average per spin). In the end, it's up to the user what they want to do with my programs, I just like to give them ways to adjust the outcome to make it their own.
I have played since 2010 and am one of the better players in the game. The wind divisors never change, if there's different numbers for different club sets then that's what you need to adjust. What I am trying to say is that you're using too many different numbers, I have 1 excel sheet for everything and it's more than enough.@@jimspencer
Amazing work here, Jimmie.
Thank you Larry

Hi Jammie Thanks for the update where can I find the power bar we use in Approach 16 V3 or is it not included.
I didn't add it to shotCalc programs didn't think we needed it, but I can look into added it
I've installed latest version, grid calculations still to the right, how do I get them inside the clock like yours?

Great app ❤
Thank you!
Looks exciting where do I download the file ??

Does one have to set up an account with Mediafire to download the file? Thanks

Hello will this app work on android tablet?
No, sorry.
Ok thanks. By any chance this is excel based so I can use excel on my pc?

The Wind Aim calculation was taken from Young46 www.wgt.com/forums/t/639839.aspx
