- Here you have the stock sound of the BMW F900R. It is a 895cc parallel twin, sounding like a 90 degrees v-twin engine.

Estaba esperando a ver como montaba un escape y es de serie
Yeah this is just the stock exhaust sound.
Is there any a1 bikes coming soon
I don't think so. I've done the MT-125 this year, A1 bikes are not really popular over here. I try to do at least one per year, sometimes a few more. Most will be A2 bikes.
how come the sound of the engine is rough like the sound of a sewing machine
I wish my sewing machine sounded like that... if I had one.
Exactly. Sounds just like a needle going up and down lol. The boxter R nineT sounds so much better.
Q: Kawasaki Z400 (€6.1k) or Z650(€8K)? (With license A)
Z650. Has more torque so it pulls faster. Unless you don't ride on the freeway/highway, then the Z400 is sufficient for a single rider. If you ride with passenger, the more cc's you have, the easier it will be.
@@MotoSnax Thanks! Is the rest like (bike) the same with Z400? Because in the videos I see that the Z650 has digital display and z400 doesn't.
I think the Z650 has a stronger frame, has two disc breaks on the front wheel, digital speedo and probably some other stuff. It is not the same bike with a smaller engine. I think next year the Z400 will also have a TFT display instead of that ugly thing it has now.
@@MotoSnax Nice! I am waiting for the 2021 releases! I hope they come out February/ March.
Not bad for stock however lets see what Akraprovic can provide as the SC Project can sounds shit.
Stock sounds pretty sweet, I also wonder what other exhausts would do.
Which one is better, BMW F900R or Kawasaki Z900 for A2 License?
Thanks!
And really good Channel!
MT07
f900r its bicylinder, this bike got more torque at the start than a 4 cylinder like the z900, I can advice to test the gsxs 750 and the Honda cb650r
Both feel pretty powerful restricted to A2. The Z900 has got 77 Nm torque at 3.300 rpm, the F900R has got 66 Nm at 4.500 rpm. This F900R has way more extra options, next to that I personally prefer twin cylinder engines above four cylinder engines because restricted four cylinder bikes feel more cut off on the freeway. I am curious about the 0-100 video I will release a little bit later. I don't think the bikes will have a huge difference.
I test drove both and the BMW (I THINK) is by far a nicer bike, more premium and better parts. The Z900 felt cheap and plastic even though the F900R's fuel tank is plastic BMW have made a great job of making a relativley cheap naked feel expensive. The power was good on the A2 loads of torque, the Z900 didn't have a smooth power delivery and felt very big and heavy. I have now put my money down for the BMW.
I don't think the Z900 feels cheap. Also is pretty fast. Of course the twin cylinder engine on the F900R feels more powerful than the engine in the Z900 in restricted mode. BMW feels more premium because it has way more features, making the bike expensive when you purchase all of them.
Sounds like a tricycle 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Sounds like cfmoto.
It is a Loncin engine. Also from China just like CFMoto. :)
Is this engine made by BMW? or Rotax?
*EDIT*
Just saw this BMW-designed engine is made by Loncin in China. I immediately stopped considering this bike and removed it from my list. 👎🏻
Yep Loncin. BMW would not mess with their name so I expect European quality control. Also these bikes are not cheap. Stuff from China can be good as long as you are willing to pay a decent price.
@@MotoSnax
Yes yes, I presume so and I'm pretty sure you're right. But we all are very used to *LOW QUALITY* Chinese products, not the opposite, and I'm not even going to consider the purchase of this motorbike. I want *NOTHING* coming from China, starting by viruses.
If the virus came from there. We will probably never know. Anyway I understand your concern regarding the bike. I'm also not someone that wants to try something new for the price of known brands so I buy Japanese. Guaranteed quality.
Having owned an F800r which is the predecessor of this f900, the f800 is a way more smoother and refined bike as compared to the f900. Having ridden them back to back the f900 feels sub par at best and atrocious at worst
@@botyaay1233
I trust you. Thanks for commenting. 👍🏻
Is this bike have Starring dampener....?
Yes it has a steering damper.
prefer the f800r, much more bike
LOL it so was not. Crap display, less power, bill the cat headlights , no ABS pro. The F900R is an improvement in exactly every way. It's fine to prefer the previous generation but don't call it "much more bike", because that's bullshit.
How about oil consumption on this? Have you checked it?
No I ride them for about a week and then return them. So I have no idea about oil consumption.
Couldn't they have put the redline at 9000 rpm ? That 8900 rpm redline annoys my perfectionism grrrr
Hahaha. They did that to annoy you. I really like the fact that the numbers enlarge when you get past them. I think this is the best TFT cockpit from all the bikes I have been riding.
@@MotoSnax It definitely looks great, although I prefer the Aprilia Shiver / Dorsoduro 900 TFT display. It just has all those shift lights and an actual 8500 rpm redline (and a limiter at 9500 rpm, satisfaction complete), that imo just gives it the edge tbh.
I have not seen the Aprilia displays as the importer over here is quite small and has not many A2 demo bikes. I won't ride them if they are not restricted. My reviews should be unique compared to other websites/magazines.
@@MotoSnax Oh they are unique. Which is why you are the only motorcycle reviewer I watch and read.
Thanks :) But there are more great reviewers out there. I don't have enough time to ride and write / create videos about the motorcycles. In October we are expecting our first child so I wonder how much time will be left for the first couple months/years.
looks bad, sounds bad, neeeext.....
So you hate 90 degrees V-twin sound?
@@MotoSnax hate is such an ugly word, I will reserve my judgement until I hear it irl but here I don't like it when it starts going up the revs
You should hear it in real life. :) It is hard to capture the real sound on video. Not that it is the greatest sound it the world, but a normal parallel twin sounds less pretty. This has different firing intervals so it sounds like a 90 degrees v-twin even though it is just a parallel twin engine.
@@MotoSnax ahh so that's why it sounded a lot like a v2 a parallel-twin with a firing order of a crossplane engine (like the mt07) but not sure if it is a parallel-twin crossplane like the mt07 just like how the R1 inline4 cp4 and RSV4 1100 sound similar
@@MotoSnax after riding and hearing the bike IRL I can really say the videos dont do it any justice. Sounds great, even with stock exhasut imho.
Bad Sound, its like a 125ccm.
LOL, any 125cc owner would like to have a 125cc bike sounding like this.
@@MotoSnax 125 hyosung GT sounds better than this
ua-cam.com/video/SLIXZ6DspyY/v-deo.html
@@sqwop 125cc's really climb so slow through the rpm's. The sound is good, but because it 'climbs' slow due to lack of torque no 125cc sounds that good compared to bikes with bigger displacements. Also don't forget this is the stock exhaust. You are showing me an aftermarket exhaust. Try the stock exhaust on a Hyosung GT125. I'm sure it will suck.
My 125ccm with stock exhaust sounds better:-)
What is in your opinion the best A2 bike? Which one do you like the most?
Kawasaki Ninja 650, Z650 and Triumph Street Triple S 660 feel as the most powerful. This F900R is pretty good too.
MotoSnax Thanks for answering, I’m looking forward to trying Street Triple S, problem is there are no nearby Triumph dealers...
Sometimes you have to travel a little bit further for something good. :)
nice scooter sound !
" sounding like a 90 degrees v-twin engine." haha nice joke xD
270-450 degrees firing interval on a two cylinder engine. Every scooter owner would love to have that sound.
