@@dinara_mairambayeva Indeed. I just recently realized how diverse the former Soviet Union was. That also includes Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan comprises of so many ethnic. If I am not mistaken, there is a strong Turk and Arabic influence in the culture, including in your local (non Russian) languange, naming and cuisine . Perhaps you can share more on your culture, especially the naming convention. I noted that your surname sometimes sounds like bin (Arabic. son of) or bint (Arabic. daughter of). For instance, I thougt that Mariambayeva means the daughter of Mariam.😃
@@imamatdalimunthe Yeah, you are right, because Kazakhs are so different. Some of us look like more asian people as Korean, Chinese, etc., whereas others have even Slavic appearance. If we talk about our language, it is one of the Turkic languages (as Turkish, Uzbek). And there are also many loanwords from Arabic, cause in general we are Muslim, and ancestors were educated in Madrasah. My surname is Mairambayeva, which is union of two words “mairam” (holiday) & “bay” (rich). “eva”, “ov”, etc. are endings of most surnames in Kazakhstan (it comes from Russia, I suppose, like “Ivan-ov”)
